This page is constantly updated to track every change happened on this site. February 2009 was the starting point and we managed to log all of our updates until January 2010. We'll resume logging our updates from May 2012 onward.
Current version of the site is v9 but there has not been any update on this page since v6. We will be looking to keep this updated for the changes from v9 to v10 that should kick off soon.

January 10, 2010 : Faster site
* Optimized main CSS file and reduced its size down to 30kb (was 40kb)
* Altered the user drop down menus code, which saved us another 13kb per page
* Compressed and encoded tabs javascript down to 2,5kb (was 9kb)
January 8, 2010 : New year, further improvements
* Better user profiles, more changes coming there
* FAQ section removed and replaced by a new Chat page (IRC)
* Replaced "I like FMScout" image to the top right with a small banner for emoticons.gr
* Giveaways introduced
* Subscribe and Follow box added to the left column

August 23, 2009 - FM 2010 Skin and Usability Improvements
* New site skin applied, design deriving from Football Manager 2010 interface. Especially the header has been coded and data arranged from the ground up.
* Introducing Tabs for user posts (forums, blogs, comments) on homepage. The old black footer bar is now removed.
* The search box following page's scrolling is not supported at the moment, as new javascripts have been added.
* New pages layout. Better formatting and positioning.
* Site menu can now track where you are and highlight the corresponding menu item. Thanks Chris T.!
* Forums read priviledge is now public again, except the following sections: Off-Topic, FC Scout, Genie Scout and Blog Talk.
* Captcha quality and colors have been improved.
* Chat page removed due to functionality issues.

March 03, 2009 - Report and Warn
* Report this comment / post / blog feature integrated. Also admins and mods will have the ability to warn users for inappropriate writings.
* Forum anti-bump protection policy has changed. Now you can post twice in a row if time limit of 5 minutes has passed.
* A security fix applied to the blogs.
March 02, 2009 - Slight Improvements
* Introduced a new bbcode tag in case you want to include a large image from external source. You can now use the new tag [imgw]link_to_image_here[/imgw] and it will automatically resize the image to fit the viewport of the post box and make it clickable with a link to the full size version, which opens with lightbox effect.
* Vote poll question became bold and larger. Pop-up window fully styled now with votes, comments and alerts. Added missing links on the 'view all polls' page.
* Fixed user-bar links.
* Added new section 'FM 2009 Guides'.
* Most forum sections are now members-only.
* Fixed bugs related to removing ads for donors.
* 120x40 pixels ad-announcement introduced on the top right corner of the site.

* 'Top 5 Posters', 'Forum Basic Stats' and 'Birthday Reminder' appear now as a 3-column box below forum section on the forums homepage.
* Improved search. When you are in the forums the option to search pages will be disabled by default. When you are on any other page, the option to search forums will be disabled by default. On homepage both options are enabled.
February 28, 2009 - Dawning of a New Era
* Affiliated with Scores To SMS to offer football live scores directly on FMScout.
* Integrated a Birthday Card service, which allows us to send Birthday greetings automatically by e-mail.

* Every forum section now has an indication of how many users are currently viewing and browsing its topics.
February 24, 2009 - Easter Eggs
* Site archive launched. Sorting options are by year and month in a blog-alike fashion.
* Top site items launched. 20 most popular pages, 20 most downloaded files, 20 top rated pages, 20 most popular forum topics, 20 top forum posters.
* More news headlines are now generated automatically on the homepage.
* New section added entitled "Pressing Room" (abbreviated PR). We will be adding interviews with important personalities of FM. First interview with Eugene (Genie Scout) is online.
* Official SI Hints and Tips for FM 2009 section just launched and GUI hints got published. The whole collection will be added until the end of February.
