will there be a 2d match viewer in FM2011? there's been talk of it being scrapped and i might be put off buying the game since i like to use the 2d classic match viewer to help me with my tactics (for example, where the defensive line is, if players are out of position, etc) and it helps me alot tbh

I admit I still prefer the 2D view over the 3D one, even though "vertical scrolling" and "elevated" views are quite decent. I mostly use 3D for goal replays.
I do similar if I think a goal is nice than I would do replay on 3D
personally i have gotten used to 3D now and they are only improving in making the 3D better. I think it will take a few years before they quit the 2D if they even do it. a lot of people will most probably always want the 2D option so i don't think they will ever remove it.

@djcrank7: No mate, the scheduled 2nd patch is for December. Why would you want a 2nd patch now? Encountered any annoying bugs?
Love the 3d match engine now far better and makes the game far more real as i f you really are watching a football match!! just need the mascots to be running around now and the occational streaker haha
@stam i mean 2D graphic patch...beacuse my graphic card does not support the game..
Go to Preferences > Display & Sound > and untick 'enable 3d match cameras' > Confirm
but there is a warning when i want to start the game:'could not set up graphics'..i had that problem too on fm 2010 and i downloaded a patch in 2D grapchics..
A patch in 2D graphics? From where? I can't recall anything like it, so I'm either losing my mind or this is crazy
