Not going to look at the lists of wonderkids etc. Not going to replay any matches if I lose. I will take advice about the game but ill tell you now I aint going to cheat!!!

Well, if you want a hint (I'm guessing that's why you're posting?)then the tactic I used for FM10 seems to work just as well in FM11, haven't had to reload yet and I'm currently tied for 1st place in the Danish first devision (playing AB).
You can grab it at fm-base.co.uk in the fm10 download section, it's called "COMPLETE DOMINANCE", yes indeed a ridiculous name, but quite accurate.
I should mention that it's none of my own work, but it's one helluva tactic.

i think downloading tactics is cheating as well.

but obviously im not judging. everyone can manage their own way, but for me personally tactics is one thing i love doing myself.

its just another feeling when you make a tactic and put hours on it and so many matches and then finally it starts to click for you and the team.

I also love to create my own tacitc. I think its one of the reasons why I love FM.

I'm also not cheating either this year in FM, well at least not in my first game. Will have to check out Genie when it comes out.

I'm not too focused on tactics in FM, I generally pick a formation, stick with it and only change the strategy (standard, control, attacking) and team instructions based on my next game.

For me the best part of FM is spotting high potential youngsters and developing them into stars!

Best to make your own tactics but advice is always a useful thing to take on board like if you were a real football manager. Suppose FM Scout is like the second assistant manager?

Well.. I've used this tactics for a long time now. What makes the difference for me is all the in-game tactical changes and adaptations you can make, instructions you can give, etc.
I "cheat" in two ways; scouting and using the downloaded tactic.

Another thing I really enjoy is fiddling around with training
I love signing young players and create personalized schedules for them to get the most out of their potential.
This is perhaps the part I actually use the most of my time on (Apart from in-game).
