Most Goals in a Season?

I'm sure many of you would agree that in past editions of FM (like 2-5 years ago), you were plagued with strikers that would come one-on-one with a goal and rarely score. I certainly think that has changed in FM 2011. In fact, I am completely surprised how many goals were scored in my first season as Liverpool. Fernando Torres scored 83 goals!!! That is absolutely crazy. I'm not complaining, but that just isn't realistic.

Anyone else noticing an absurd amount of goals being scored in this version of the game?

That's impressive. Question tho, did you use any editing program such as FMRTE to avoid injuries and keep his condition up? 52 matches is a lot.

I've used FMRTE like a scout program (to find new talent), but not to avoid injury or keep up conditioning. A ton of his games were 2-3 goals in the first half, and I'd just sit him to rest him since the game was already out of reach.

I used him as a lone strike in my variation of the "Complete Dominance" tactic. The striker doesn't get that tired, but the AMC, AMR, and AML all had to go every other game if they only got 3-4 days rest.
