Etxeberria snubs Guadalajara!

The first contract offer has been given to one of the fifteen players... and rejected! Andoni Etxeberria, a Spanish midfielder, rejected an offer from recently relegated Guadalajara for a yet unknown reason. This was announced just a few minutes ago by Etxeberria himself.

People linked with their first move are Grant Grantham, linked with Notts County and Yeovil, Mykhailo Holub, linked with Zhemhcuzhyna Yalta, and Carlo Benedetti, who is linked with Gimnastica Torrelavega.

Holub signs for first ever club

Ukrainian right winger Mykhailo Holub is the first player in Wonderkid Central to be signed by a club. The club who decided to snap Holub, 15, up was Ukrainian non-league side Zhemchuzhyna Yalta. They play at Avangard, Yalta, and are managed by Ivan Maruschak.

Other players who are linked with a transfer are Carlo Benedetti, who appears to be finalising a move to Gimnastica Torrelavega, Taramasalata Sauthouiroiapa, linked with Derby County, Watford and Leicester City, and Mikeedo, who is apparently off to Tondela.

Great update, and I wish luck to Holub in Ukraine! Hoping to sign for a decent team, and get tons of playing time

Benedetti gets big break

Carlo Benedetti, the Italian-Spanish goalkeeper, is the second Wonderkid Central player to sign for a club. However, this club is a lot bigger than Mykhailo Holub's Zhemchuzhyna Yalta. This club is La Liga's Espanyol, where he was picked up a week or so into the transfer window. Espanyol play at Estadi de Cornella, with Javier Aguirre managing them.

More players linked with their first moves are Timmy Ivo Bendiš, who is linked with Lucko and Slaven Belupo, Evil Moderator, who is almost officially a Nordvest FC player, and Lack Jister, who is in talks with MK Dons, Bradford and Portsmouth.

Honestly hoping Hajduk get with the program and sign me, at least to the youth academy. I'd rather play for them than for Slaven or Lučko.

It might be a good idea to play for Lučko in the 2nd division first though... win a Golden boot and Young player of the year award to kick off my career, eh?

van Basten gets first club

Dutch midfielder Leo van Basten has, too, got his first contract signed. van Basten, 15, is now officially an MVV player. MVV are in the Jupiler League, play at De Geusself, Maastricht, and are managed by Dutchman René Trost.

No other players that haven't yet been mentioned are linked with other clubs, but more should be coming soon!
