Rochdale New Life Fresh Start

As I sit down and start to think about what to do, what to invest in I want to make something great again but I don’t want to start at the top and make that bigger, I want to start at the bottom and make them big, I have a lot of money I mean a lot of money I have invested it in all different things and have come out on top, Now I sit here looking at Football not knowing much about the sport but knowing I could learn what I need to and bring success to whatever team I chose, and no I am not big headed I can be, why because I earned the right to say it.

To me this is a Gamble and to be honest with everyone the money I invest I make back the same day, but it’s going to take a lot of my time. When I set down to look over football matches I thought back and the first game I ever saw was a team called Rochdale and they lost 5-1, so I said to myself this is the team I want to change to turn around, now I have to try and get, I should really introduce myself My name is Steve Jobs I am the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc, I am worth 7 Billion, and it grows every day and I want to do something great with it.


So as I arrive in England to hold a meeting with Rochdale Chairman Chris Dunphy and try to sort out a deal for the club, I really think deep down he does not want to sell the club but I really want it, and everything has a price, I hit him with a number 32 Million for the club, he looks at me and says are you mad, and to him been honest he says that far to much for this club, I just look and smile and say well that’s my offer, he thinks about it for about 5 minutes and then we shake hands, I am now the chairman off Rochdale Football club, I think to myself that was easy but now the hard works start to make them Great.

Please Note This is a new Chairman at the club I will be a manager Also.

The New Man At the Dale

Sitting down looking over everything this club is barley getting by each season, losing money losing Matches, well that won’t do any more I need to bring in a fresh face a person who has played the game understands what it takes to win, so I get on with it look for a young manager, someone who is not afraid to stand up and be accounted for, a manger that will take risk’s, and someone who is not afraid to fail but keep going.

I remember reading about this one person, on how we was to become a great player and the it was all over for him in one minute, but he never gave up he kept trying and trying to get back up no matter how many times he fell down, and this is what I want at the club someone with a new give up Attitude, I don’t know if he is willing to take a role like this but I will try my hardest to get him on board with this plan.


To my surprise after about 4 days off talking we have got are man, he said he was surprised that I bought the club and sees what I want to do with it, after hearing what I had to say he was pleased with were the club was heading and he wanted to get back into the game, So Dean Ashton as accepted the Role to become the new manager of the club on a two year deal, and I am grateful that we would come here. The season does not start for 2 months but he is already looking at players to bring in and get started and has really got stuck in already I hope this is a success and I hope we as a team move in as a family and grow as a team.

Love it! Can't wait to get into it;) just a question...Steve jobs is dead?:P no?;)

Even that sentence had terrible grammar in it...
But I'm not trying to be "smart", there's a serious message there too: you're going 3 or 4 lines without a single full stop at times. Try separating out your sentences a bit more by removing a few of the commas, it'll make it much easier on the eye, trust me.

I have a slight feeling this was directed towards me....
Seriously, your story's not even onto it's second page yet and you're already giving up due to lack of support?!? And besides, I never said I wouldn't get behind this story, I only gave you a little bit of constructive (albeit intentionally slightly humorous) criticism. If you're not willing to accept that and take it on board, then that's your loss, because many others seem to think this story had some real potential.

Finally, I may have poked fun at you a little bit but I never meant to offend and was always willing to follow each update; I wasn't around for your FM12 story but if it was as good as you make it out to be then I can't see why something like this would drive you to end the story.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest that you've done this anyway, anyone who can't accept constructive criticism for what it is, or at least just totally ignore it shouldn't be writing on here at all.

By the way, if the Sunderland one was FM12, it was wrongfully nominated in SoTM.

I am sorry about my overreaction i was just tried and will keep doing this story and it was Pauker the story was on Fm 13 was a mistake.

Please fm, continue your story as normal? Rab, I think it was just taken the wrong way as even to me it sounded as if it was a bit of a dig but as you said you didn't mean it like that so again, FM would you continue your story? I think it was going places...
