thnks all for ur help started a new game with ur tipsn did much better in some ways, second in league best ever runners up in f.a cup but i did get knocked out of the champions league with only 2 points bummer but it all seems to b working jst need a quality signing but cant seem to get n e 1 i go for at the mo so only buyin youngsters.
well as man utd you should be able to get almost anybody, that is weird!
its more a case of i wait to sell thn use tht money to buy balance the books so to speak tht way a get a cash injection jst bout every season. its surprisingly hard to sell as united and i dont hv time to buy established stars cos but youngsters go through quick for example in the last week of my second season transfer window i signed 5 youngsters gud 1s but still young.
Dunno about the AI in this but consistency seems to always be the key constant adjustment wont help try and get it right in the first 5-10 games and stick with it! On FM08 i have done 11 season with inter with the same formation and they are unstoppable i dont know if it will work that well in FM09 as i have had a similar problem, last 6 games of the season could barely get a goal i went from 2 points behind Juve in 2nd place (this is with AC btw) then flopped and finished 5th and i am not happy! Now just started the 2nd season and they are looking a bit ropey and my team has lost all harmony!?
