My first story on Football Manager 2014 will be with Walsall FC. In real life they have made a good start to the Sky Bet league one and are amongst the front-runners to gain a play-off spot. Although their squad is a thin one it certainly doesn't lack talent and has a good mix of both youth and experience. My main objective at the start is to get in decent cover for all positions I am using because the fitness of players is very important in such a tough league. It is both mentally and physically draining and certainly is not a league for the weak.
