Pep Guardiola - Too Good To Be True

Loving this so far, going to sub, good luck man!

We actually have a really good squad with players like Diego Perotti, Ivan Rakitic, Marko Marin and Vincente Iborra. All of these players will be important to the team but I have highlighted the three most important players in my opinion.

I can see that your squad is not to balanced though as you have good midfielders and Kevin Gameiro to play upfront, however you are lacking in defense. I guess that's a position where you will be looking to sign a player for.

"Most defiantly. I will be looking to bring in a new striker, a new center defender and maybe a new goalkeeper, loans are a possibility."

I will defiantly be looking to strengthen the defense as Carrico, Mbia and Pareja are only on loans

Today Pep Guardiola has announced that he has completed the signing of Michael Essien and let Piotr Trochowski leave the club.


Essien, aged 30, is no stranger to Spanish football having spent a season long loan at Real Madrid last season. The big center midfielder can play practically anywhere on the right or down the center. The Ghana international has played 52 games for the Ghana national side scoring 9 goals.

Meanwhile Piotr Trochowski has departed the club for AS Monaco for 7 million. The German international has spent two seasons at Sevilla making 41 senior appearances scoring 3 goals.
