This is the worst player ever I have him in Roma for one and the half season and he is the worst player(I have ever seen-in FM 2008 he was fantastic) in my team, I tried him as a striker(very bad), as a MC(very very bad), as a AMC(a little better but still bad), he played about 35 games and he has 0 goals and 6 assists av. rating 6,56! I bought him for 48,5 mill. euros! I have excellent strikers up front (Benzema, Vela, VuÄinic, Rossi), so he must be a problem, because they score when someone passes to them which he doesn't do(when Arteta, Totti or KranjÄar is playing on AMC team playes well, when he plays I play like shit)!
Do you have some advice what he should play( player settings)?

ehm run with ball often, forward runs often, long shots mixed, through balls often, crosses often or rarely(depends how freely he moves on the pitch). creative freedom slighty much.

NO, he alwalys has a partner, I usualy play 4-3-1-2,2 DC, 2 FB, ML, MR, MC, AMC, 2 ST or 4-4-2(sometimes wingers are pushed Up front with AMC), My team GK(Doni, Curci, Hildebrand), DC(Mexes, Bruno Alves, Sakho, Lescott), FB (Lahm, Dani Alves, Chretien, Mangala), DMC-MC (De Rossi, Mascherano), ML(Guardado, Osvaldo), MR (Arteta, Wilshire, Milner), AMC-MC(KranjÄar, Totti, Aguero), ST (Benzema, VuÄinic, Vela, Rossi), they all play well except AGUERO!

Well do as they have already told you, but if it still doesn't work sell him, I never buy those kind of players because I don't want to spend that much money on somebody when i can spend half of it on few players and my team will still be great, I don't believe that many stars make a good team...

i remember buying robben in fm 06 or 07 and he was mostly injured.just 12-15 games per season.and when he was valid to play....giggs was better than him.i eventualy sold him
i think it depends on the league how tough it is quality of keepers Defenders Ect...
