Hey guys, I'm a first time poster here and looking forward to doing a story with the one and only controversial Robbie Savage. I'm not a Derby County fan myself, but have always been a fan off Robbie Savage and have decided to take him back to his old club to see if he can take them to European Glory! ha!

Reporter - "Robbie, do you feel your ambitions for the club are matched by the chairman"

Savage - "I certainly hope so, I wouldn't have taken the job otherwise. I have no doubt that the chairman has the clubs best interests at heart"

Reporter - "How do you see your management style, bearing in mind you have never managed a football club before?"

Savage - "Oh don't get me wrong this is going to be a tough challenge but I'm certainly up for it and have never been one to back down as you probably know! I want the players to know they can come to me with any problem they have"

Reporter - "Robbie, the last couple of seasons have been fairly forgettable ones for Derby, are you able to inject the spark required to life Derby out of mid-table mediocrity?"

Savage - "I think i'm that man! The chairman has faith in me and I believe I am that catalyst to spark a revival"

Reporter - Will you be primarily focusing on the league this season, some manager have different focuses for the season, what's yours?

Savage - Yes, my main aim this season is to win the championship, what else?! I'm here to win as is every other manager! If the players don't give me passion and desire I expect of them they will certainly know about it!"

I'm a Derby fan myself and due to the financial situation it will be quite hard, my advice is lots of loan signings, but good luck anyway!

I didn't think the finances were too bad, I appreciate there is a bank loan in there that's being paid off, but on the whole looks fairly healthy?

Adam is a good full back, he's on loan from Tottenham as you probably know, will be interesting to see how he progresses this season

Savage's Verdict: "To be fair , we have had a pretty garbage month in terms of results. I have to say though we have played some tough teams this month and with quite an inexperienced squad we have showed a lot of fight in the games. I think with more time the squad will gel and hopefully we will see a turn around in results. Believe me I will get this team playing good football"
