Well it depends on whole bunch of stuff, but for me so far Dean Ashton, because I have only played with WHU so far...in, I think, 80 matches (around two and half seasons) around 60 goals something like that, I can't be bothered to turn on my Fm, but in first season league scorer runner-up with 33 goals in 32 matches, just one goal behind Adebayor....
really adebayor? i had him in my arsenal side, he was shit! sold him for around £20m to inter and he is shit there aswell.
for me the best strikers are Carlos Vela, Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez
all score shed loads of goals, and many assists.

Fernando Torres is the 1 for me. Scores Shedloads. Im like 10 Games into my 3rd Season and He`s already got a Strike Rate of 1.03%. But the trouble is if you play for any other team other than Liverpool I think its nearly impossible to sign him.

yeah, maybe your said that your Striker is the best, but when you're not controlling them, maybe they're not that good at all..
if you're using Arsenal or Liverpool,then Adebayor and Torres always get a poor rating or not scoring goals..maybe your tactic doesn't suit them..so it's not about them, but it's about your tactic that can't show their true potential..

yeah but Balotelli is the best in the game, always scores and gets loads of assists, no matter what tactic you use.
