Background

In a world where $ is king, Manchester United is lagging behind. With the club having to take on a large loan for the takeover by the Glazers, it left little buying power to improve the squad. Although the Financial Fair Play rules comes into effect soon, United just don't have the money to compete with teams like Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain in the transfer market.

A group of investors from South Africa had enough of rivals City getting the cream of the crop. It's time for change. After a year of fundraising, investment liquidating and money moving they finally have enough to rescue their beloved club frm the Glazer tyranny. It's time for Manchester united to move forward.

The first order of business is housekeeping. Out with the old and in with the new. The dead weight will no longer suck the club's finances dry. Sir Alex Ferguson had a vision for the club. To be the best by growing the best. That vision will be implemented. Talented youth players will only want to play for one club - Manchester United.

With a balanced mix of the best players and talented youth players, the Red Devils will once again dominate the world of football.

The Board meeting

Avram Glazer ~ "Gentlemen thank you for coming on such short notice. As you might have heard we sold our majority stake in Manchester United to RSA Investments. I would like to introduce you to the new owner Mr. Piet van Zyl. He will be taking over this meeting."

Piet van Zyl ~ "Thank you all for the warm welcome. United is no longer a public company. We at RSA Investments saw this football club as a investment opportunity. But united is more than an investment for us. This club is close to my heart and I want to see it function to its fullest potential. For that I need a board of directors with experience. I know some of you might already made plans about your futures when the news of the takeover broke. But I want to offer you a role on the new Manchester United board. In front of you is our offer."

The following board members resigns with immediate effect:

Piet van Zyl ~ "I thank all of you for your service. Please leave all company property with security on your way out."

Piet van Zyl ~ "3.1 - New Board structure. Thank you all for staying on at United. I propose the following structure for the board of directors."

Its kind of sad that the news story about Miley could actually be true;) Good story so far bud!

The Manager

Piet van Zyl ~ "3.2 - The Manager. David Moyes handed me his resignation this afternoon. I have accepted it. We now have to appoint a new manager. I have offered my college room mate, Eduard Claassen, the managerial job. He just finnished his UEFA Pro Licence and he is keen to start his management career. I know he is inexperienced, but as you can see from his application, he will bring in fresh ideas.

Alex Ferguson ~ "Give the lad a chance. You are right, we need a fresh start."

Bobby Charlton ~ "I agree with Alex."

Martin Edwards ~ "I have no problem. He has the qualifications."

David Gill ~ "Any idea what sort of remuneration we're looking at."
Nice start mate, great presentation...good luck! :)
Great start...very detailed...and as a Man U fan, i appreciate where you are coming from.
Will be following
Piet van Zyl ~ "I am offering him a 115k p/w excl. bonusses wage until June 2014, then we'll discuss it again."

David Gill ~ "Sounds good."

Piet van Zyl ~ "Kimberly, please let Mr. Claassen in."
This is great, looking forward to reading more :)
