Season Preview Part 2.5: Manchester United to Southampton

Manchester United Position in 2012/13 - 1st
Manager - David Moyes
Key Player - Robin van Persie
Season Preview - A lot of things have happened in the preseason for Manchester United with Sir Alex Ferguson retiring and his successor being revealed to be David Moyes.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 5th A very difficult team to predict we don’t think they will be challenging for the title this year with the departure of there long serving manager it may take them a while to get back into full swing. Although we predicted 5th just below Liverpool we still think they will be fighting for a top 4 till the last day of the season. The highest we can see them coming this year is 3rd which would be good start to there new managers career.

Newcastle United
Position in 2012/13 - 16th
Manager - Alan Pardew
Key Player - Fabricio Coloccini
Preview - After what can be described as bad season in the league last year Newcastle fans will be hoping it was just a glitch and they can back into the top 10 as quick as possible.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 8th We think Newcastle will just miss out on Europe this year but there will a massive improvement for them, we think that next year they will take the next step and get into Europe .

Norwich City
Position in 2012/13 - 11th
Manager - Chris Hughton
Key Player - Sébastien Bassong
Season Preview - after a generally decent season in the league last year Norwich will be hoping to push a top 10 this year.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 9th We think Norwich who have been gradually improving each year in the Premier league and we can’t see any reason why this year would be any different.

Southampton
Position in 2012/13 - 14th
Manager - Mauricio Pochettino
Key Player - Rickie Lambert
Season Preview - Southampton impressed many last season finishing 12th and will be looking to do the same this year.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 7th Why do we think Southampton can get the last Europe spot? Its simple we think there squad is good enough to challenge for the spot. That’s not to say it will easy we think it will be a very tough fight for them to get it and the spot will be decided on the last day of the season.

As i do not have time for a full update i thought i would say what i want to accomplish with this story.

Try to get into Europe within 3 seasons.(Should hopefully be doable in my second season)
Try to field a very youthful team.
Look for transfer bargains.
Try and sign some player who i don't know anything about.
Try to learn about different leagues.
That is all if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

New update will be either half of the third part of the preview if its that i do that today. or the full preview which will come out around this time tomorrow

please excuse the lack of updates I just got the new batman game and have been bashing it I promise I will finish the season preview today because I'm getting bored with it and just want to start the season :). Also there will be quite a lot of experimenting with the updates and new banners as the one I have been useing so far is a little tacky and could with it being improved. Last thing I would to ask is what is the average of people on this? As I would to know if I'm one the younger ones at 15 years old

Stoke to West Ham

Stoke City Position in 2012/13 - 14th
Manager - Mark Hughes
Key player - Ryan Shawcross
Season preview - There was only one team who scored less then stoke last year and that was QPR
So stoke really need to improve that aspect.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 12th We think this will be a subtle improvements this year but improvements none the less./

Sunderland
Position in 2012/13 - 17th
Manager - Gus Poyet
Key Player - Steven Fletcher
Season Preview - After almost getting relegated last season Sunderland fans will be hoping for improvements

Sunderland will be out of the relegation threat quite conformably

Swansea City
Position in 2012/13 - 9th
Manager - Michael Laudrup
Key Player - Michu
Season preview - After a decent season Swansea fans will be hoping for more of the same this season.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - We think this year Swansea will take step back and make a bigger push for Europe next season.

Tottenham Hotspur
Position in 2012/13 - 5th
Manager - André Villas-Boas
Key Player - Christian Eriksen
Season Preview - After enjoying moderate success in the league over the last few years so Tottenham
Fans will be hoping to the top 4 again soon.

West Bromwich Albion
Position in 2012/13 - 8th
Manager - Steve Clarke
Key Player - Stéphane Sessègnon
Season Preview - After a good Season West Bromwich Albion will be hoping to improve will they do it?
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 14th No we don’t think so, unfortunately for them we feel that the league this year is to competitive.

West Ham United
Position in 2012/13 - 10th
Manager - Sam Allardyce
Key Player - Winston Reid
Season Preview - After getting back into the premier league West Ham have impressed with 10th in the league.

Breaking News New Manager is

Michael Williams
that’s right completely unknown/unproven manager Michael Williams has taken over the vacant manager spot at Aston villa this will come as shock to many who where expecting Owen Coyle to join after he declared interest in the job.
The official statement issued by The Aston Villa owners is as follows “We are very proud to announce Michael Williams as the new manager we hope he can take the club forward and lead us back to glory” when asked how long the contract ran for they replied with
“At the minute it is a 1 year contract but we are sure we renew it later in the year”

M = Michael
I - Michael you sit here as the new manager of Aston Villa a big job for someone of lets just say your calibre how are you feeling about it?
M - Well as someone of my “calibre” I think its only right for me to be nervous in a job like this but im sure I can handle the pressure.
I - Interesting, do you think you can lead the club back to its former glory?.
M - Of course I hardly would of taken job if I didn’t think I could.
I - Okay then moving on what do you think about the facilities and stadium of the club?
M - There great but I expected no less from a club of this stature
I - You sound extremely happy with the clubs facilities, How about the squad what do you think you can achieve with it.
M - I feel the squad is good there are just a few areas which need strengthening but other then that the team is great great, and I feel I can achieve success with it and maybe get into Europe this season.
I - Something no one seems to have asked you at the moment is do you have any previous Managing experience at all.
M - Well I guided England to victory in the world cup 3 times in a row.
I - I don’t understand?
M - Football manager of course J
I - I meant real experience.
M - Of course you did and in response to that I managed a local team to moderate success.
I - Well where almost done just time for one more question which is do you have any transfer targets in mind?.
M - I cant tell you that a secret J hehe.

Breaking News

Shay Given And Gabriel Agbonlahor Seen in the picture above have been transfer listed in a shock move no one would of thought that they would be transfer listed fans have been tweeting us here is a few of the tweets “I am outraged that Michael Williams has transfer listed two of are clubs heroes more so agbonlahor but both really and I hope he can rectify this with future transfers” most of the tweets are like that but there are a couple of tweets that defend the manager including this “Although I will be sad to see the players go I can understand why”. Michael Williams refused to comment on this and instead released a single statement is as follows “I thank the players for all they have done for the squad but in order to move forward with my tactics I feel that the extra transfer fund is more beneficial”. Having caught up with Shay Given he simply said that he is sad to be transfer listed especially by such a new manager as Michael.
