Is it just me? but you cant have ur usual list of players to buy in any game u start?

like most people i make up a list of players of potentials or bargins so i can buy if needed when i begin a new game. but with fm 09 i found tht maybe one or two will be the same in the next new game but most wont for example

Darren Bent one game played 43 games and scored 31 goals (obvis someone messed up somewhere creating this player in production)

but in another game played 37 games and scored 5?

and its like tht with a large number of players

yeh the game is inconsistent in this way.

i mean one thing about being a manager is that you are a person. and you are unique and have ur own ways. the thing about it in real life is that you might make a player in the championship to become the worlds best.

you get my point yeah?

the thing about FM is, you cant really choose what type of a person you are when u start a manager game.

i mean if u have a certain type of personality then u will fit with certain type of players for an example.

so that different affect a manager has on different players isnt thought well out in the game.
its just random every time.

dnt get me wrong i understand and actually thinks it makes the game more challeging
iv been playin the game for years now but iv always found tht a players form is consistent in any game you start.

or i just may got lucky with the same players over again...oh well

they should include a consistancy rating in mental attributes

its one of their hidden ratings like "important matches" or "injury proneness"

but it maybe shuldn't be hidden? because en real life you now if a player is god in most machst or just plays fantastik in a few
