Problem with Genie Scout 2009.

Hey.

i have this problem which i got message from genie scout (for 9.2.0)

"the lang_db.dat doesn't seem to be valid language DB for FM.
version: 1234."

anyone has any idea how to resolve it? the genie scout worked for a while and now it stopped.

I have a problem too. I get the message database 1242. It's a new load FMscout09 and uncompresse3d saves game. Help needed before I pull the rest of my hair out!!

i had the same problem.

solution:
download the original lang_db.dat here:
http://files.filefront.com/lang+dbdat/;11465430;/fileinfo.html
then just place it here:
[game directory]\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\data\updates\update-910\db\910

keep the led on...

Anyone seen a fix for 9.3.0 patch. My Genie Scout no longer works with the new patch.

Error message is:
"Unknown database version 1245."

When I go into the menu and select update, the error message returned is:
"An error was encountered while trying to get version info.
Cannot get data from web."

Any ideas?

yeah i started a new tottenham game, where i would use scout to get all the good regens when they come, but it difficult when the scout doesn't work.

the fix will be much appreciated. and stam, the site changes also are welcomed can't wait for them

I don't think this problem will be solved as the man who made Genie scout has stopped. Genie isn't compatible with the new patch so only Eugene can fix it and he quit......

hey when i try to load up my game in fm scout, unknown database version 1245 come up and only started doing that the other day but dont know why!?any ideas??
