Seems decent enough but personally id go for Steven Fletcher.
I have had experience with this player before in previous games, I had him for about 5 seasons in an FM08 game. He is a quality player and can score loads if you have a decent partner, if nothing has changed inbetween Fm08 and 09 with Boyd.
na after further looking into him i dnt think he will be value for money, i had a bid of 12mill rejected and i werent willing to spend anymore on him

at first i thought S@*T i have made in mistake in signing this marquinhos
but after 2 games he started playing
lastest stats for me so far have been:
11 games and 13 goals 4 assists with a average rating 7.52
he looking awesome! this is premiership he scored two long range efforts against chelsea

Hes a beast Marquinhos!
both r amazing but go for boyd.... hes cheaper and scores tons, give him a good partner and good wingers( maggio and razack traore+tevez) and hes unstoppable
