Average tbh, not amazing but not bad :P

Friendlies part one

So the first match after the 8-0 thrashing over our U21's was against Young Boys. This was a game that we knew was almost impossible to win, and we were right. Young Boys too an immediate lead after only 3 minutes, the worst possible start for Visé. The lead was doubled after 20 minutes, and then made 3 after 35 minutes. On the brink of half time, Visé youth ST Regis Nicolay scored a decent half volley. 9 minutes after the break it was made 4-1. In the 70th minute it was put to bed, with Kastrati scoring, his 2nd of the game.

Final score: Visé 1-5 Young Boys

The game after was against an equally strong side, the Monaco reserves. Although a reserve team, they still have quality players that can develop into Monaco legends in the future. Again Visé conceded quickly, with Andreas Wolf scoring in the 6th minute. However, 20 minutes later Visé CDM Daan De Pever equalised. Nothing much happened for a long duration of the match, until the 80th minute where the decisive goal was scored. The goal had gone in the favour of Visé, scored by ST Arnaud Biatour. In the 85th minute Tom Dethier made it 3 goals in the favour of Visé.

Final Score: Visé 3-1 Monaco Reserves

The third game was against Belgian non-league side Herentalis. Although a game you'd expect Visé to dominate, the sides went in at half time level at 0-0. The teams were set apart in the 62nd minute by Visé LB Faycal Rherras. He added his second soon after in the 73rd minute. 4 minutes later it was made 3 by Masmanidis, and soon after 4, this time by Mehdi Terki.

Final Score: Visé 4-0 Herentalis
I was like, no way did you just beat AS Monaco... and then I saw the "reserves" bit at the end :P Very good pre-season nonetheless, and I'm looking forward to see how you do in the league :)

I beat the first team when I was at Manisaspor! :P Was pretty good, so me too :D
Pretty decent win against Monaco's reserves.. Is there a high-profile player? (Sometimes when they need match fitness after an injury, etc.)

Indeed it was! And I don't think so, this was their starting XI

Friendlies part two

The fifth friendly game we had was against a very strong Blackpool side. This was maybe one of the hardest teams the club had faced in its history, so nothing was expected. Amazingly, we took the lead after only 15 minutes, goal coming from Daan De Pever. The team held well defencivally, and went into the break 1-0 up. However, a phenomenal win didn't look to be on the cards as in the 53rd minute Blackpool scored an equaliser. Only 10 minutes later, ex Stoke ST Ricardo Fuller made it 1-2, and this would be how it finished.

Final score: Visé 1-2 Blackpool

The game after was against Third division side Patro Eisden. Although in a lower division, they looked to have an equally strong squad, so it could be a close encounter. We took the lead early, in the 8th minute, courtesy of Bosko Balaban. 10 minutes later the lead was doubled by Daan De Pever. Patro hit on a counter in the 26th minute, and finished one of little chances. Just before the break Balaban got his second of the game to give us a comfortable 3-1 HT win. The first goal of the second half went to our opposition in the 53rd minute, again Ubachs. However, only a minute later we scored again through Vaccaro! The fast paced drama continued as they added to their fast growing tally yet again in the 60th minute. Vaccaro got his 2nd of the game in the 64th minute, and then the game seemed to die out, resulting in a 5-3 victory.

Final Score: Visé 5-3 Patro Eisden

The third and final game was against French side Sedan Ardennes. The game started out rather slowly, without any sort of action up until the first goal in the 23rd minute, unfortunately going to our opposition. 9 minutes later we managed to grab an equaliser through Balaban, and we seemed to build some momentum from this. The sides went into HT at one all, but we had looked to dominate. Straight after the break we took the lead, goal scored by Etien Aka. We scored the final goal of the game in the 72nd minute through new signing Terki.

Final Score: Visé 3-1 Sedan Ardennes
