Crazy attributes, counties, positions

So I run FM14 via Steam, latest version. As far as I know, latest version Genie Scout 14g. I am on Win8, which might be the problem, but I don't know that. Never had this problem with Win7 tho.

As seen in screenshots, attributes are either VERY low, or VERY high - and wrong. As far as I know the Current and Potential ability is still correct.

Player positions are messed up, sometimes lacking, and there's (small African?) counties instead or added to the nationality. Again, see the screenshots.

I thought so at first, but you said it only affected certain players for you. It's all players on mine.

Hi, I'm sorry to say that the latest download is the same as the other posts. In mine the names and clubs are correct but all other details are all over the place, eg every player is a goalkeeper.
I have tried to reload the genescout but it is still the same.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Getting exactly the same here. windows 7, tried running as administrator. Any advice?

I uninstalled, removed the key, reinstalled and copied the key over again and now it's working great.

I'm having the same problem!

The positions are all crazy. Almost every player shows as a GK, and when i click on them the attributes are crazy too. I've tried to load other save games and all it's the same.

the same kind of thing is happening to me. I have sent you an email with a screenshot genie.

i did a clean install from w7 to 8.1, which I was guessing could be the problem? i.e if the key is specific to an indivdual pc, then maybe my computer is now considered to be a new pc

Yes, I received a new key file. I had this problems since I reinstalled my laptop.
Now everything is working, only waiting on update for FM-14.2.0
