Anyone know if there is a random element to the success or failure of tutoring ?
I had a player being tutored which ended in a personality clash and both players were then 'reacted badly to manager'. They had seemed quite compatible and I did the tutoring because the information had said 'similair player to xyz'.
Just as an experiment I decided to reload and see what happened - this time the tutoring ended a week later and they had both got on really well.
I'm always wary of tutoring because of personality clashes and players end up hating you but if, as it seems, the uncertainty is further muddied by such randomness I'm not sure I'll bother any more unless it is players I don't care about.
