Are they correct this year, or are they estimates?

I remember last year Eugine was still trying to work out the formulae for calculating the sale price, I was wondering if it has been solved yet for this years version?
Afraid Eugene is still finding it too difficult to get a precise sale value this year also, so it's just a general guide.
Thanks for the reply, how far are they out?

Reckon they are better estimates than last year?

I'd be more than happy to lend a hand at getting a more accurate value, if there is anything I can do
The estimates seem to be terrible. Especially the value estimate of players on loan elsewhere. For some reason it lists their value very low.
Sale value calculation is improved in v1.1 14.2 (g-version only). It's experimental still and needs further improvement, but it's much more reliable now.

Thanks for working on this Eugene.

It seems player valuation will never be as accurate as it use to be, purely due to some of the new AI factors.

I saw a youth player of Manchester UTD with 80% potential ability in his position.

Genie Reccomends 6M. But I am a rival team in the same division, not only that, but I think the larger teams that consistantly produce good players (real madrid, man utd, barcelona etc) ask a massive price for promising youth players, probably because its essential to them they have so many players from their own country registered in their squad in the future.

In this case after bidding 6m. Manchester UTD suggested 27 million instead:

I wondered if there was any way to calculate the projected value of a player, based upon factors that seem to affect the asking price of the AI. A few I can think of:

1. Clubs will always ask for more money if they know that you are a larger reputation club with a larger transfer budget.
2. Rival Clubs are more unwilling to sell a player.
3. Homegrown players may be worth more in their country of origin due to the limitation on how many foreign players may be registered (league rules)
4. Player happiness etc
5. Sale club reputation, players more likely to stay at a club with a larger reputation than yours. (Maybe manager rep also comes in to play).

I'm sure theres more to it and I know Eugene will know more than me, but I just wondered if there is any hope of gaining accurate value estimation given how complicated this seems to have become.
