Greetings folks
I was wondering for quite some time now and with the release of Genie Scout today i thought to ask your opinion

Some times, its often for me at least, genie scout and in game scouts have a different opinion on which position the player plays better. I do guess tho that it does make a difference in game at least and as i want my team to play on its best i thought to bring up this matter
Let me know what you think !
Genie is not 100% reliable - I know that potential attributes can be surpassed in the game. But beside that, Genie gets most of the things right. I believe it's up to you to decide, just study the player thoroughly and decide what's best for your team. I'd stick with Genie as far as positions are concerned.
In your scenario, Genie is likely to be better. The worse your scouts are, the less accurate they will be. If you are a team like Barcelona with the very best scouts, they will be fairly reliable. If you are a non-league side with one scout, don't listen to him! Genie Scout should be more reliable in general...
Thanks for the replies

Both of you are right i guess and it does indeed need more search about a player from what a scout tool may offer you but well, being lazy does not help :)

As for the scouts, yes that sounds right but i am talking about scouts who are supposed to be among the best in game.

Anyways, thank you again !
Scouts with very high Judging PA can be quite accurate but even those fall down when a player reaches his potential at an early age. They say 'can improve significantly' even tho the CA has reached the PA.
I guess that is true to life though - if you have a great player at age 21 you would expect them to get even better even if they have actually peaked. Also I suppose those scouts may be referring to hidden stuff like consistency which could still improve.
