Help with Editors

I only have had fm2009 for about a month and was playing 2008 up to that point. While I have been playing I have never used an editor.
Now i am looking to bulster Plymouth's Finances as the are fairly poor
SO I NEED BASIC HELP ABOUT HOW TO USE
I have not yet downloaded anything.
So here are my Questions
1/ Does it affect my game saves in any bad ways
2/ do i load fm2009 or the editor from the desktop
3/ if i uninstall the editor while it take away my changes
Also Please explain how to use as i do not totally understand from what i have read.

its not that hard, just play around on a new save game. or an old one u dont care about anymore.

If you uninstall the editor your changes will still be there. Once you make changes its hard to get them back unless you write down what you changed and change it back.

They are very simlpe to use just download one and give it a whirl.
