Pardew Walks After Clash With Kinnear!

Mike Ashley's appointment of former Magpies manager Joe Kinnear as Director of Football caused speculation over current Toon manager Alan Pardew's happiness, and the speculation has proved to be correct, as Pardew handed in his resignation to Ashley this afternoon after a meeting in which he told the chairman that Kinnear was undermining his role as manager.

Alan Pardew, who signed an eight year contract with Newcastle just last year, told that he was frustrated at the situation with Kinnear. "Everything that I try to do, he just goes against it and I can't be dealing with someone so ignorant as that. All I wanted was the best for the club and I just do not think that can be achieved whilst Joe is still at the club, and I mean that for the next manager as well. I am genuinely worried for the long term future of the club."

It is clear that there is no relationship whatsoever between the two, but there is some good news for Alan, and the future of Newcastle, or at least according to Pardew, as Kinnear has been sacked from his post, just one month after being appointed due to this breakdown in the relationship. We were outside St James' Park this lunchtime, and were the first to speak to Kinnear. "Look, I think there has been a major misunderstanding here. I was only doing what was required of me by Mike [Ashley] and Alan has taken that the wrong way. I certainly will not apologize but I am just sad to be leaving Newcastle again."
Oh Ashley.... I bet Kinnear had a little bit inside of it.
Another story :P
Joe Kinnear's immediate reaction: "Who's this Alan Pardon fellow anyway?"
So much for that 8 year contract….lol

Good luck dude!
Good LUCK
Good luck! :)

King Kev Returns To Newcastle As Pardew Replacement

Following the resignation of Alan Pardew on Monday, Newcastle chairman Mike Ashley has acted quickly by reappointing former Newcastle manager and player Kevin Keegan as his replacement. Keegan, who won the European Footballer Of The Year award during his time at German side Hamburger SV, has welcomed the opportunity to get back into football management and said that he could not have been more pleased that it was at a club which he had so much love and respect for.

The former England international will be returning for his third spell as Newcastle manager, with his last spell causing tension between himself and Ashley. However, Keegan has confirmed that he has been in regular contact with Ashley since his resignation and is convinced that the tension is over. Of course, this seems obvious to the rest of us too, as it would seem rather strange that he was hired with old disputes still in play. Keegan has promised he will do his utmost to ensure the club does not disappoint the expectant fans, and has also told that he is willing to spend in order to do so.
Nice start, good luck with Newcastle, do as well as you did on FM13!
