The Start of something Special

What did I decide to do? I retired from football that's what, I mean what's the point from going on as a player at 37 and playing for Atlético Mineiro - an average Brazilian Team. It's time for a new challenge, maybe as a manager, maybe as a coach. Either way I'm too unfit to play football and I can't go on like this. It's time for a change.

Maybe I'll become a Manager at a English League 2 side or maybe I'll go on as a coach at my beloved Arsenal, or maybe I'll end up homeless and not have a job, only time will tell.

So like I always say 'When a door closes, another one opens.'

I sat down in my comfy silk dressing gown with a cup of tea watching the TV, I was enjoying watching one of my favorite shows - The Big Bang Theory, about 5 Minutes in I got a call from a weird number outside my area.

I am the Head of the Panathenian Alliance, the group that own Panathinaikos, my name is Mr Alafouzos.
So why are you calling me, to offer me a coaching position at Panathinaikos?
No, Mr Silva, we want you to manager Panathinaikos, you are a Club Legend as well as a former player, we would love to have you as manager.
I've never really thought at being a manager of such a big club before, I will need to give it some serious thought.
