This is the first story in which I intend to carry on with, as it's with the team I support so I have the passion to carry on the save for at least a couple of seasons. I hope I can develop my writing skills as well as I progress through this story!

Arsene Wenger Retires

http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/EMP-6231061-thumb-425x270.jpg
2nd July 2013
Today brought the day that some Arsenal fans have been hoping for, for many of the trophyless years they have experienced recently, yet the day that some have been dreading as the main man's contract wound down gradually. Of course today brought the day that Arsene Wenger chose to retire. The Frenchman had crisis talks on the 1st of this month with the Arsenal Board of Directors and major shareholder Stan Kroenke. An hour after the talks ended the following message was posted on the club's official web page:

" We have today chosen to end Arsene Wengers contract 1 year earlier, and as we understand it this will also bring about his retirement from management. Myself and the Board chose to make this decision as he begun the meeting by expressing his desire to retire after the end of his contract. We therefore thought the termination of his contract a year early was necessary to give the new manager a long transition period over the next year. We will now begin our search for our new manager, and can assure the fans that this decision was not made lightly, nor will the appointment of a new manager be. We also wish to notify everyone involved with the club that we separate with Arsene Wenger on nothing but good terms,
Stan Kroenke

It believed that the Arsenal board were well prepared for this event, and that a new manager will be appointed before the beginning of the pre-season and will be backed fully in the transfer market.
This is a really good start, I will be following! Good Luck :D
Good start! I'm waiting for Wengers replacement ;)
good start mate!... looking forward to seeing how you do!
Good luck !

Arsenal Legend Takes Charge

http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111031022604/football/en/images/0/03/Bergkamp_knvb_groot.jpg
Yesterday brought the end of a legend, today brought the return of another. Stan Kroenke has today proven his ambition with the club by appointing such a young manager, aswell as his eagerness for the next season by appointing a new manager in under 24 hour since Arsene Wenger left his role as head coach. The new manager is of course Dutch and Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp. Today's breaking news broke after the following statement was posted on the Arsenal website, only to be removed and reposted in the hours prior to the appointment to everyone's confusion;
" We are today delighted to welcome Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp back to the club, back to where he truly belongs, back to his second home. We are extremely impressed by the passion showed from Dennis, who immediately showed an interest in taking the job, and our thanks also go to his legal representatives who completed the negotiations in a quick and reasonable manner.
The following information is for our younger members of our fan base who may not have experienced the work of the magician himself and contains the information of the new man in charge at the Emirates.
Name: Dennis Bergkamp
DOB: 10 May 1969 (Age 44)
Place of Birth: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Playing Position: Second Striker
Appearances for Arsenal: 315
Goals for Arsenal: 87

We also wish to assure those who are worried, that Dennis is receiving the best possible therapy available in Europe, and can confirm that he will be able to conquer his fear of aeroplanes and travel with the club on our overseas expeditions.
Bergkamp! I'm love it! Keep it up! :)

Transfers in

http://static.weltsport.net/bilder/spieler/gross/119750.jpg
Robert Lewandowksi has today joined Arsenal Fc from Borussia Dortmund in a 20.5 million pounds deal, taking what many people in the footballing world see as a step down, moving from last years champions runners up to a team who were booted out by the round of 16.
The Polish international has announced that a leading factor in his signing was that Dennis Bergkamp was a personal hero of his, and that they had a conversation during the negotiations where Bergkamp expressed his passion and ambitions for the club. Lewandowski went on to add;

"Last year I went to the champions league final with Borussia Dortmund, and Germany was kind to my during my times in Dortmund, however now I am in London with Arsenal and I hope we can go on together to become one of the biggest superpowers in European football" .

The former Dutch international has also expressed his desire to add more additions to the squad, hinting he's looking for young players who could become legends like himself at the London club.

"Youngster joins the Bergkamp Revolution"

http://imagem.band.com.br/f_136133.jpg
Botafogo wonderkid has today joined Arsenal for a sum believed to be around the 10 million pounds mark, following previous stories that manager Bergkamp was in the market for a young center back.
Doria becomes Dennis Bergkamp's second signing in just 4 days as he looks to, "Bolster the teams firepower"and in particular recruit the wonderkid of the next generation into the Arsenal line up. The young Brazilian joins the London giant after spending his youth at Brazilian side Botafogo, making a total of 50 appearances during his time at the side. Although many of you may be sceptical about Arsenals latest signing, Doria seems to be a bargain when you consider he has already made his first international debut while still being at the ripe age of 19. This means with 51 professional caps to his name, including 1 internationally, Doria will reach the peak of his career in near to a decades time, leaving us only to dream about how good he could possibly get.
Doria will be joining up with other new signing Robert Lewandowski as well as the rest of the squad in a few days as Arsenal FC begin their pre-season, and as Dennis Bergkamp begins his managerial career.

Pre Season Results

Before the Swindon match I sat in the dressing room with butterflies, far more nervous than the majority of the players if I'm honest with you. I didn't want to become a laughing stock, and more importantly I didn't want to ruin what my good friend Arsene had been working on for the majority of the last 17 years. To make matters worse I knew I could ruin it in under a season, by taking the side I love more than anything In the world, to a mediocre Premier League side. Unfortunately for Tottenham fans, I didn't plan on letting that happening, not when I was in charge. So this is how I did:

I was glad to get these away games over and done with to be honest, especially the Swindon game. Although the fixture against Servette brought a disappointing result, we did well enough in the other three to prove that this was a fluke result. All we needed to do now was to focus on the Emirates cup and my first fixture in charge at the Emirates.

I don't need to say anything about these two results, the scores speak for themselves. "There's only one Dennis Bergkamp" the croud sung to my delight. The nerves were gone. I couldn't wait to walk out as Arsenal manager on the first day of the Barclays Premier League season 2013/2014.
