BOWYER RESIGNS AS BLACKBURN HEAD COACH

Blackburn Rovers have announced that Head Coach Gary Bowyer has resigned from Blackburn Rovers and that the club are immediately looking for a replacement.

Gary Bowyer, 42, enjoyed a good playing career at Rotherham United, and has recently
become the manager of Blackburn Rovers, however due to what appears to be a huge argument with the board, he has decided to resign.

It is unknown who will be the next manager, however the club have said:
'We are currently evaluating the possible candidates for the job and we will have come up with a decision within the next few days.'

Whoever they decide to choose for the next manager will have a huge task in hand to keep top scorer Jordan Rhodes from the hands of many Premier League clubs, being linked with Norwich, Fulham and West Brom.

Blackburn Rovers are ready to unveil their new manager for the upcoming season after the recent departure of manager David Bowyer.
The Venky's have been working very hard according to the club website to choose the right man for the job and please the fans.

SkyBET has announced the odds for the Blackburn Job:

Roberto di Matteo - 7/4
Paolo di Canio - 8/1
Neil Warnock - 20/1

There will be a press conference to unveil the new manager tomorrow, with many fans hoping for a new manager who can lead them to promotion this season.

ROBBIE SAVAGE APPOINTED AS NEW BLACKBURN BOSS

http://static.whatsontv.co.uk/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/media/robbie-savage.jpg

Shocking news from the Blackburn camp as they have appointed former player and TV pundit Robbie Savage as their new manager for the foreseeable future.
The appointment of Savage has taken the fans by surprise, many of which wish him the best and hope he can lead the club to glory, whereas a few fans are unhappy with the appointment due to Savage's inexperience in management.

Robbie Savage played for Rovers in his career as a professional footballer, appearing 76 times but only scoring one goal. He was known for being a 'dirty player', receiving many yellow cards for his challenges.

It will be very interesting to see how Savage manages Blackburn, and if he can drive them into the play-off spots with the possibility of regaining their Premier League status.
Interesting appoint.
Hopefully he (you) can get Blackburn promoted :)

Yeah, If I can keep hold of Rhodes and possibly sign another centre half, I think promotion will be on the cards!
Good luck :)

THE FIRST FEW DAYS

It's great to be back at Ewood Park, I've had some great times at this stadium, and I'm still trying to sink in the fact that I'm the new boss! It's going to be tough to live up to the expectations here, with the Championship being tougher than ever.

It's an honour to be able to take this job so early in my managerial career, I think any manager who was new to the business would fall head over heels for a first job at Blackburn, there are some exceptional players here, Jordan Rhodes, for example, he can lead this club back up to the Premier League, however I know for a fact it's going to be very tough to keep him here.

Very soon I'll be meeting my staff to discuss the responsibilities for this season, and then meeting the lads for the first time, to discuss the targets for the upcoming season. It's going to be a hectic few days, that's for sure!
