Henry IN, Wenger OUT!

Shock in the world of football as Arsene Wenger quits from his Arsenal job. The 64-years old world class coach decided to end his career at Arsenal after 17 years. He is the club's longest-serving manager and most successful in terms of major titles won, having led Arsenal to 11 trophies since 1996. In 1996, Wenger was named manager of Arsenal and two years later the club completed a league and FA Cup double. He led Arsenal to appearances in the 2000 UEFA Cup Final and 2001 FA Cup Final, and a second league and cup double in 2002. Arsenal retained the FA Cup in 2003 and a year later regained the league title, becoming the first club to go through an entire league season undefeated since Preston North End, 115 years previously.

"I must thank this incredibile club for all he offered me all these years. I had the pleasure of working with great legends and we achieved great things here. No one in the Premier League history ended a season undefeated before we did this and we made our fans proud of the club they support. Everything has an end, so that's the time for me to stop and give someone else the chance to work here." says Wenger in his last interview.

"Former Arsenal player, Thierry Henry, appointed as new manager!" announced the chairman of the club.
Good luck and welcome to FMScout! :)

The squad is ready for the pre-season and, with some new signins, we can aim for the glory even in the first year. I am focused on preparing the players for a long season. I have the plan so what can I do now is trying to apply it."
