Hello and Welcome to my first FM-Story!

Introduction:
Who is Salvatore Beretta? Salvatore is my Italian alter-ego (been using the name for all my career modes, both in FIFA and FM a long time.) I have been in love with Italy and its football ever since I was about 8 years old and saw Totti for the first time on tv.
I love everything about Italy, the cars, the women, the food, the football, the clothes.

I can't play with any teams outside of the Italian Series, If I do.. I just get bored after a short time. I can't even pick my favorite team Atletico Madrid, because I don't want my god, Diego "Cholo" Simeone to loose his job at Atletico. I just can't stand the fact that I'm the one who is getting Cholo sacked.

What team will I use and why?:
I will play as Udinese, because I love underdogs who are doing a lot with a little. I have been very inspired by Francesco Guidolins work in Udinese the last couple of years. (The coach of Udinese).
Udinese have been buying very cheaply and turning their players to top quality players.

Quality players who have been sold since 2008/09:
Gökhan Inler - Now in Napoli
Samir Handanovi? - Now in Inter Milan
Asamoah Gyan - Now in Al Ain (former Sunderland)
Cristián Zapata - Now in AC Milan
Alexis Sanchez - Now in Barcelona
German Denis - Now in Atalanta
Fabio Quagliarella - Now in Juventus
Simone Pepe - Now in Juventus
Mauricio Isla - Now in Juventus
Kwadwo Asamoah - Now in Juventus
Antonio Candreva - Now in SS Lazio
Roman Eremenko - Now in Rubin Kazan
Juan Cuadrado - Now in Fiorentina (half-owned)
Pablo Armero - Now in Napoli
Aleksandar Lukovi? - Now in Zenit
Mehdi Benatia - Now in AS Roma
Sulley Muntari - Now in AC Milan

My goals with Udinese:
  • Reach Europa League the first season.
  • Don't buy anyone expensive.
  • Avoid to sell my best players.
  • Keep my signings as realistic as possible
  • Develop young players for the first team.
  • Try to Challenge the top teams

Good luck mate!

UPDATE:

Udinese's 2013-14 kits. (The green and the yellow kits are the keeper's kit.)
http://www.passionemaglie.it/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/kit-udinese-2013-2014.jpg

My formation:

MY Tactics:
So I'll play with a 3-5-2 formation, both in my defensive/attacking formation but that might change during the season, it all depends on my performances (could easily switch to 532).
I haven't had much luck with the 3-line defence before but I have always loved the formation so I hope it will work good for me this time.

Key Players:
Di Natale:Striker, 36 years old. The legend & the captain. 313 Apperances and 162 goals for the club.

Di natale is my most important player of the team, I expect him to win me most of the matches with his world class striking. He'll be my go-to-guy.

Danilo:Central Defender, 29 years old. 50 Apperances and 3 goals for the club.

Danilo is my defensive general now that Benatia left to Roma, I expect him to lead the team from the back with his great defending skills. Considered still to be one of Serie A's best defenders.

Muriel:Striker, 22 years old. 33 Apperances and 14 goals for the club.

He will be very important for me when Di Natale aren't able to score. A player I want to keep in Udinese as long as possible.

Update

Promising talents who will be given a chance to break into the XI.

Success (Isaac Success): Nigerian, 17 year old striker.
Will be the fourth striker option, will be giving him playtime. I hope Success can bring Success to the club heheheh. (I personally love the name a lot).

Jadson (Jadson Alves dos Santos): Brazilian, 20 year old defensive midfielder. This a player I want to give a proper chance.

López (Nicolás Federico López Alonso, commonly known as Nico López): Uruguayan, 20 year old forward. A big talent, was a part of the Benatia deal to Roma (Co-owned by Roma).
He will be my third striker option, behind Muriel and Di Natale.

Badu (Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu) Ghanaian, 23 year old defensive/central midfielder. One of my best players on the central midfield, a player who have already played 61 games for Udinese. Hoping for him to take one of the starting spots in the XI.

Bubnjic (Igor Bubnjić): Croatian, 21 year old central defender. A very mature player who will get some playing time, as I play with 3 central defenders its easier to give him some playing time. Big hopes on this guy. Have already played 2 international games with Croatia.

Bruno Fernandes (Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes): Portuguese, 19 year old central midfielder. Will be given playing time, will have it hard to get a starting spot this season though.

Gabriel Silva (Gabriel Moisés Antunes da Silva): Brazilian, 22 year old left back/wingback/left midfielder. Isn't garanteed a spot in the XI but isn't too far away from it.

Pereyra (Roberto Maximiliano Pereyra): Argentine, 23 year old Winger/Central midfielder/AMC. A player who have really grown lately in Udinese and will hopefully dominate the midfield.

Zieliński (Piotr Sebastian Zieliński): Polish, 19 year old Central mid/Amc.
A player who I will loan out to give him more play time, a very promising talent.

Out on loan:
Torje (Andrei Gabriel Torje): 24 old Winger/Amc. - Loaned to Espanyol.
Not very young but a late bloomer :)
A player who have had it hard to make it into Udinese's team, a late bloomer who's doing it good in Espanyol. A player I got big hopes for. Got 33 apperances for Romania and 10 goals.

Vydra (Matěj Vydra): 21 year old striker. - Loaned to West Brom.
A very talented striker who played very mature last season in Watford, scoring 20 goals in 41 games. Looking forward for his return to Udine.

Verre (Valerio Verre): Italian, 20 year old central midfielder. - Loaned to Palermo.
Was also a part of the deal with Benatia to Roma. Doing it okay in Palermo irl, got to show his skills in Palermo to be a part of the squad.
Quite a talented bunch, there! Badu, Lopez, Pereyra, Vydra and Torje especially :)

Transfer news!

Players in:
Giuseppe Bellusci (Central defender) - Bought for 1,5 million euro.
Lacked a quality RCB, cheap quality.

Marco Davide Faraoni (Wide midfielder/Wingback) - Brought back from Watford for free.
Lacked a good back-up for Basta on the right wing.

Yacine Brahimi (Attacking midfielder) - Brought from Granada for free.
Needed another quality AMC, and he wasnt wanted by Granada.

Players out:
Zieliński: Will be loaned out to Rennes to get playtime.
Maicosuel: Sold to Sampdoria for 2.2 million euro. Felt he wasn't good enough for my squad, plus I got a decent offer from Sampdoria.
Aranguiz: (Not really a sale but got 50 procent of his transfer to América (MEX). The deal got me 1,5 million euro.

Wanted list:
Looking for a solid goalkeeper to replace the injured Brkic (out for 5 months).
Got three cheap quality keepers I'm interested of ->

Benoît Costil - French, 26 year old keeper currently playing in Ligue 1, in Rennes.
David Ospina - Colombian, 25 year old keeper currently playing in Ligue 1, in Nice.
Guillermo Ochoa - Mexican, 28 year old keeper currently playing in Ligue 1, Ajaccio.
P-KIDDY: Yeah I'm really looking forward to coach them, very excited :)
You had to use women to show the kits :P
TK69: Haha yeah, thought the FMscout people would like it more. :)
