Been playing him at mainly CAM - Shadow Striker, but also CM - Central Midfielder - ATT. Meyer can do both as well so rotating between them at the moment

What a start to the season! Hopefully you keep hold of Farfan but I wouldn't blame you if you let him go at the age he's reaching

I would prefer to sell him actually, doesn't fit my formation

FC Schalke 04 have decided to sign two players and suer up their already-strong defence. Alexander Milosevic signs from AIK in Sweden for £625,000, and Stefan Strandberg joins for £475,000 from Norwegians Rosenborg. Milosevic plays at centre-back, and while Strandberg plays mainly there as well, he can also cover as a central midfielder.



Milosevic, who will be loaned out for first-team football at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, was said to be very pleased to have the opportunity to work for a manager such as Marc Wilmots. Strandberg, who will slot into the Schalke squad as cover, had this to say: ‘It is brilliant being at such a massive club like Schalke. I will miss Rosenborg greatly but at the moment I think that this move was what is best for my career.

In other news, Schalke and Peru winger Jefferson Farfán has not left the club, and will provide cover as an attacking wing-back. The news comes after both Monaco and Chelsea had ‘unsatisfactory and disrespectful’ bids for the player rejected.

Wilmots, who said in his first interview with the club about the lack of spending power, will not make any more signings this window, and the VELTINS Arena will be a quiet place on Deadline Day.

Following the end of the transfer window and the international break, Schalke got back into football and stayed very strong throughout the month. With 5 games played, including Champions League and cup matches, the team picked up three wins.

Thanks mate, really enjoying the save at the moment. Cheers as well, been off for a while for exams etc, but have loads more time now to write

A fairly poor month for Schalke started with a win in the Champions League, recovering slightly after their earlier loss, before a tough streak in the league began. However, Schalke ended the month with a win to end their blip.

Don't worry about the couple of losses as I am sure you will get back to top form soon

Cheers mate, it's going really nicely at the moment, playing good football too

Finally, after a couple of poorer months from Schalke, the Blues hit winning form again, with only a small blip.

Thanks mate, we are doing quite well

Schalke fans have been very happy so far this season, with manager Marc Wilmots taking the Bundesliga side to second in the table heading in to Christmas. Fortunately, for Schalke fans, it may just get better, as the team look like they are really beginning to hit top form.
