Hello everyone, majority of you will not of heard of me, as I'm fairly new to this site.

My name is Patrick, I've been an football manager addict for many many years and have spent a lot (and I mean alot) of time invested in this game. In regards to writing stories, I have done some in the past, most recently writing one for my Lech Poznan Save over at Football Manager Story, however the save became corrupt after 8 seasons and well that was that really, took some much deserved time away from the game. But with time, my fondness for the game crept into my mind and before I knew it I was behind the computer once more. The question in my mind this time was who I was going to manage and how I wanted them to play.

Having spent nearly a decade at a Polish club playing what I believed to be quick passing football, I thought it would be nice to come back to what I know best, good old English Football, back to cold afternoons and heavy rain. Though I do suppose Poland isn't much different. Anyway I digress, as you may know by the title I have chosen Preston North End. The side to have been the first to Win the English Double whilst being unbeaten in the League resulting in the nickname 'The Invincible's'. Saying that this was over a hundred years ago, a delightful time where there was no offside rules. It is some what clear that much has changed since the glory days of Preston, who unfortunately find them selves mid table in League One. For many Preston fans out there, they shall be thinking will they ever compete in the grandest stage of them or will modern day football swallow them alive.

Season 1 Goals

  • Promotion to the Championship
  • Attempt to reach the final of the Johnston's Paint Trophy
Good luck.
