JUAN MATA SEVERELY INJURED IN CARDIFF MATCH
It has been understood that in the 3-1 victory over Cardiff City, Juan Mata has suffered a dramatic injury. The ex-Chelsea star, who joined on the night of Saturday 25th January for 37.1m, had scored a goal and he was heading in another one.The ball flew into the net but Mata hit the goalpost. Then Mutch pulled one back before Kagawa, Mta's subsitute replacement, slammed home. It is expected he wll come out of hospital soon, thanks to amazing treatment, but Juan shall never play football again.

Juan Mata will never kick a football again, according to the Manchester Health Society.

We had the pleasure to interview Mata.
Reporter: Hi Juan, how long will you be in hospital?
Mata: About a week, the surgeons have been excellent.
Reporter: How do you feel about never being able to play again?
Mata: I'm still hoping against hope that I will be able to play. It's hard to take in, I just went from hero to zero. I wish Chelsea and Manchester United good luck for the forseeable future.
Reporter: What job are you going to take now?
Mata: Management. I just can't step out of my beloved game.
Reporter:OK Mata, been nice speaking to you!

FOUR CLUBS OFFER MATA MANAGEMENT
West Ham, Derby County,Brighton and Hove Albion and Real Betis have all offered Juan Mata a management contract. All of these clubs feel they are underachieving and have promptly sacked their managers. Mata must now decide which job he wants.

West Ham are the only BPL club in this list, but they are in an availability crisis, and are heavy favourites to go down.

Derby County are the worst of the four and Juan would only pick them if he wanted a steep challenge-not ideal at this stage in his career.

Brighton are play-off chasers with quite a bit of quality that always seem uto pull under their weight. Is Mata the on to turn this around?

Finally,Real Betis. High mid-table quality.Bottom of Liga BBVA. In a QPR situation. This could be Mata's type of job, but he's not one for money, and that's the only way Real Betis are the best team here.

Only time will tell who he picks, but Juan Mata knows he will have support wherever he heads. Meanwhile, anticapation will rock the earth-and the media.
Poor mata
I really dont know what to say
Very interesting storyline going on here.. Kind of strange that he's going into management straight away but anyhow good luck.
Well that escalated quickly! Good luck!

MATA BRIGHTON BOSS
Juan Mata has been appointed Brighton+Hove Albion manager. The BBC attended the press conference, and we have decided to tell you the events.

Brighton owner: We are glad to announce our new manager. He is a Spaniard hoping to leap at his first chance at management.Yes, that's right, our new boss is JUAN MATA!
(mass applause)
Juan Mata: I am proud to lead Brighton and I will try my hardest to achieve the club's soaring ambitions.
BBC: Where do you imagine Brighton in 10 years?
In the top half of the Prem, with around a 20m transfer budget and a large, friendly fanbase to back the team. FLY SEAGULLS!
The Times Journalist: How do you plan to develop Brighton?
Juan Mata: We shall bring in youth, with some coming in on transfers. I am building the Seagulls for the future, so a temporary dip might come. Don't worry. Because we shall be a much better side. Eventually.
The Brighton Coast Oracle: What will be your tactics?
I won't announce my plans out loud to our 23 Championship rivals, but generally we will be playing attacking and beautiful football. This is part of a plan to get a bigger fanbase.
The Manchester Flyer: Who are your transfer targets?
Juan Mata: I will only be making right-now signings when they hit me in the face, but for the future, I shall try to buy Pourtsmouth's Jed Wallace.
Juan Mata: It is now time for me to attend a board meeting. Goodbye, Seagulls and journalists.
