Ole Gunnar Solskjær steps down

Ole Gunnar Solskjær has stepped down from the Cardiff City post, after ‘second thoughts’ on the job. Solskjær revealed he was told not to take the job when he first took it, after the unfair sacking of ex manager, Malky Mackay, but ignored the advice and he told us he ‘regretted the decision’ before adding, ‘I rushed into things, without listening to people’s advice.’

After the news broke to both the players and fans, many lost faith and protests were made, asking chairman – Vincent Tan, to leave the club. This matter has followed up many things that have been caused by Tan, such as the clubs change from Blue to Red and Malky Mackay’s sacking.

Vincent Tan has come out and said ‘Ole, you have made a very poor mistake and you don’t know how much I love this club and because of this I will become the club’s new manager.’ We now confirm that Vincent Tan HAS become manager of Cardiff and will now not only be the chairman but manager of Cardiff City.

I know you like to start new stories but starting two of the same one is a bit stupid.

Anyway, good luck. (Y)
@Aaron. Yeah! I know, it came out with a duplicate for some reason, but thank you! :)
Good luck! :)
Good start, looking forward to this :)

At this rate Cardiff are doomed – Lineker

After Cardiff ‘named’ their new ‘manager’ on Friday, many people took to the streets and protested, but along with this many pundits were quick to react. But one of the most potentially interesting was from ‘Match of the day’ presenter and England legend, Gary Lineker, who came out to say ‘At this rate Cardiff are doomed.’

(Lineker’s quote on Tan’ is being heavily debated)
The quote was made on the show after a tweet was posed about thoughts on the current situation at Cardiff and how were they going to do in the Premier League this season. Lineker’s full response was, ‘I think Cardiff are going to struggle, how on earth are they to do well with a man who does not know a thing about the football, let alone the club, at this rate Cardiff are doomed and there will be nothing they can do to combat this, unless a miracle happens’

Cardiff have also confirmed the loan signing of James McArthur from Wigan until the end of the season, after he said he wanted Premier League football, after the FA Cup winners Wigan, were relegated last season from the Premier League. McArthur told BBC Sport, ‘I’m happy to be in the Premier league for the coming season, Cardiff is to be a challenge for me again to be as good as I were for Wigan and hopefully I and the squad can be successful in keeping this club in the Premiership.

Good luck!

Tan forced out of Cardiff

Vincent Tan has been forced out of Cardiff, both as the chairman and manager by the fans and the clubs supporters foundation. Tan was seen heading out of the training ground earlier this morning with paparazzi surrounding him, taking many snaps of the owner/manager.
Tan had been disliked ever since he took over and the fans have always let their voices be heard over him, most being very negative. Tan took over Cardiff last year as chairman before sacking Malky Mackay earlier this season and then Ole Gunnar Solskjær before appointing himself as the new manager and it has come to no shock that has left the club.
Fans voiced their jubilation over the matter on social media site, Twitter, where one fan posted this about Tan.
It is of yet unknown who is the favourite for the job, but fan hint at the sign of Gary Lineker taking over the club.

England legend Lineker takes the reins of Cardiff

Cardiff City unveiled their new manager today, in Gary Lineker. The ex England legend will replace Vincent Tan as the clubs boss. Lineker was the supposedly favourite after comments on popular show, ‘Match Of The Day’ saying that the welsh club were ‘doomed.’

The club were ‘proud’ to have attracted Lineker to the club and he will take temporary charge of the chairman role as well as the managerial role. Lineker spoke to BBC Sports saying, “This is to be a big challenge for me and obviously it’s my first step into the managerial role, which I look forward to. Cardiff are safe and secure without Tan I think also now, being a pundit has had many positives as I can look into the club and what has happened.”

Lineker confirmed the signing of Bryan Oviedo from Everton on a 3 year deal, after he completed the paperwork and completed a successful medical. Oviedo joined the welsh side for £5,000,000 and the 23 year old is happy to at the club.
