Feature Request for Genie

I would like to be able to sort players by Role rating, instead of the default genie rating. That sorting should be included in the best players lists which the donators get.

For example instead of a striker rating, which is the default there should be:

Target man rating
Poacher Rating
Complete forward rating
Deep lying rating
Trequartista rating

and so on.

What uses might this have? If I want to buy a box to box midfielder I could do it easier than having to manually filter out advanced playemakers or defensive midfielders.

Please Eugene let me know if this is possible for this years FM14, considering for next years FM15 or not going to happen at all. A reply would be grateful.

I doubt Eugene is willing to add any new features into GS14, and it's still early to be talking about what will happen with FM15. If he chooses to retire from GS development, he said he'd pass it to someone else.

Why would he be unwilling to add new features? Time constraints?

Definitely, it should be a feature since the beginning of this or previous FM. Nowadays general rating isn't really helpful tbh.

After this long time, I still believe this feature would be extremely good to have.

Agreed. This is the feature I miss the most. I find that comparing a modified rating with the role rating when signing players brings the best cost-benefit. I believe that GS is a program that saves players a lot of time, and this would help a lot.
