Margate FC: Seaside Dreaming

What is this story?

This is a story using my database of the English Mega Leagues system, with 10 tiers of English teams, with the club of Margate FC, my home team. They're on the coast, as the title shows, and are, quite obviously, in the town on Margate. I feel that this'll help the story as the club is one that's close to my heart, despite being eliminated early in the Elimination Game... ;)
This is the table for their league in my database, the England Mega League Two, in tier 7 of the system:

Margate are the favourites for promotion in this league, but it'll be a very close tournament, as most teams have the same squad (and then there's Bishop Auckland...)

Another AlexTHFC story... why?

I'm taking a leaf out of Walter's book with his fantastic Blackpool story and going back to basics. Well, I never was with basics, but I'm going to basics, okay? I feel that this way there will be motivation to write, as updates won't be too long with essays of meaningless text, time won't be wasted on fancy graphics, and I'm doing this for fun. If this ends after this post, at least I can say that I tried going back to basics. ;)

The first update will be soon, either tomorrow morning or tonight, with the squad details :)
Good luck buddy! :)
Good Luck
Good luck :D
Finally, Margate! Good luck but whats wrong with a bit of Bishop Auckland?
Enfield Town > Margate :P

PS: 300th POST!!
@AaronHJFT96, @Team Lift, @PJGrieve7: Thanks mates :)
@ZapdosTheGreat: Yeah, I know :P Everything is wrong with Bishop Auckland ;)
@The 510 Series: No chance :P
Good Luck I will follow :)

Squad Details

As soon as I took charge of Margate, I took a look at my squad. As a Margate fan, I knew that some positions needed severe improvement, and some were fine as they were, and I also knew that I needed to come up with a perfect formation for the club to use and be successful in my attempts to bring the club to glory. So, first of all, I took a look at goalkeepers...

Now the potential goalkeepers are done, it's time to look at defenders, and the key players in my defense...

Now I've gone through the list of key defenders and reviewed the Margate defense, it's time to move on to the midfield...

Now the midfield is done, it's time to move on to the final position that I need to cover, the attack...

So, that's the squad review! I will definitely be signing a goalkeeper (we'd be pretty lost if we didn't...) and with any luck, sign a central midfielder to go with the goalkeeper or two.
Thanks for the kind words :P

I think we both needed a fresh start with less effort spent on writing about the game then actually playing it. Good luck.
Good luck :)
@Walter: No, thank you for reminding me I needed to get back to basics! ;)
@pompeyblue: Thanks :)
