I am currently playing FM 09 with Liverpool, and there seems no chance of extending Anfield, evertime i ask i get, not allowed to extend, now it used to state that a new stadium would be built in older versions of FM, but not 09. So i am wondering if anything can be done???

It usually depends on how big your stadium already is, and where your stadium is located. It still is possible to get it extended or get a new stadium built, but other factors count in FM09. If you already have a reasonable size stadium and are in a big city the likelyhood that the council would allow planning permission in FM09 is quite low, the only thing i can suggest is to keep trying. And watch that bank balance
I have enough in my transfer kitty to build the damn thing myself!! The club is now worth £1.5 billion, they have been putting 300-400 million away in some trust fund each season, but still in a 45.000 stadium! It used to build a new stadium for Liverpool, now nothing on 09 version. I had a 90,000+ capacity stadium on 08 version. Grrrrr!!

Yeahh, I've found it's much more difficult to get a new or expanded stadium on 09. What season are you on to be worth 1.5 billion? Thats wild

haha
you just have greedy owners who don't want to spend money haha
lol, still greedy with so much money.... sums up Liverfool I guess :yes

How have you made so much money with Liverpool, they make a loss each month due to having to pay off alot of debt?
I'm in season 2019-20!!!! Had some koala-tea generated players, and bought in quite a few from spain etc, cheapish buy-out clause, trained them up, loaned some out to get playing time, and some move on for big cash, it's the way forward, make use of city's willingness to spend big!! Keep the best!!
And most of all, dominate league and europe!!!!!

I'm in 2024 and don't have that much with Man City, plus I didn't have 300 odd mill of debt, its hard to imagin making 1.5billion, plus paying off all those debts in 10years, when you can't up your monthly payments even if you have the money.
