The word is out...

For months there have been rumours about David Beckham taking ownership of an MLS club or creating his own and building an American business, well now we have confirmation of the new David Beckham franchise in the MLS...

MIAMI VICE is the new team this season in the Major Soccer League!!

Still little is known of where they will play and who will be joining the team, and also the small factor of manager?

What high profile name will move over to sunny Miami?

David Beckham was quoted as saying in an interview:

" Im not in this for a quick fix to make some money, im passionate about this country and improving its football league. I thought long and hard about management and it isnt for me at the moment, this is a great route into ownership, im looking to bring the best players to this club mixed with our own home grown talents, I aim to have nothing but the best facilities at the club, anything we have to do to attract quality players will be done, and over the past 5 months we have been working day and night improving, building etc to make us a top MLS club.
I will no doubt be looking for ex teammates of mine to come in and commit to this project in this paradise town!!"

Miami Vice & David Beckham have bought to the sunny beaches of Miami a few of his close compatriots from his playing days...probably on big money contracts but what a list of names to be around Major League Soccer!!

Miami Vice will play in a light baby blue home kit very similar to Man city's home kit, Their away kit however will be pink with a couple of black stripes here and there, Beckham has never been shy in wearing bold clothes & colours in the past, and finally the alternative kit is a slick black with thin pink hoops.
