Robbie Fowler - Rebuilding Liverpool

Liverpool Owner John W Henry has today announced that his beloved Liverpool will be forced into the bottom tier of English football due to dodgy going's on under the previous owners Tom Hicks & George Gillett.

Liverpool will be playing their football in the Skrill North as of next season and it has come as a great shock to the staff and the players, as a result of this Brendan Rodgers has mutually terminated his contract and now the Merseyside club are now looking for a new manager

Henry has announced that he is deeply saddened by the news as he has seen his club Liverpool have made such huge progress ever since he took over. He had the following to say:

"It is really disappointing to have heard the news, everyone here at the club is saddened by the news as I felt that we have made such huge progress recently. it is also looking likely that we are going to lose our star players, as most will not want to play at this level and also so we fit into the regulations of the league system."

"I am 100% certain that we will bounce back and be one of England's leading clubs again, it'll just take time to get through this sticky patch and then we'll come back stronger then ever. I plead the fans to stick by us and offer full support to our new manager."

Reports suggest that Uruguayan magician Luis Suarez will be one of the first to leave, followed closely by fellow south american star Lucas Leiva.

Liverpool have today announced the short term appointment of Robbie Fowler on a one year deal. Fowler has taken over from previous Manager Brendan Rodgers who decided to leave by mutual consent after stating that this challenge was too big for him.

It has come as a great shock to most Liverpool fans as they was expecting a more experienced manager but nevertheless was happy to see an old face return.

Fowler has played an astonishing 266 and racking up a total of 128 goals in the process, he is a massive name around Merseyside and it will be interesting to see what he can bring to the reds.

Fowler announced this short statement after penning the one year deal:

"It is a great honor for me to come back here to a club I loved, it was hard for me to leave the first two times and it is great for me to come back here and give something back to a club that gave me everything. I am very excited and looking forward to the future with the Reds, it is a club that is close to my heart and I know most of the players here due to being a club ambassador previously."

"I need to meet the players, see what they're about, see where their loyalties are and then progress from there, it is inevitable that we will lose our big names, it shouldn't come as a shock as we're in England's lowest division. I will be using mostly youngsters and developing them as it is a great opportunity for them to be playing at lower leagues and building themselves up. The stage is set for a comeback, the chairman has given me his full support and I'm relishing this challenge!"

"I plan on keeping as many of the staff on that I can and will be looking to hire an assistant soon enough as Pascoe has opted to leave along with Brendan, so I will be fielding some calls soon too, as for players I will be looking for young ones that can come in and develop to become stars in the future."

Liverpool have today announced that they have let their key stars leave the club. Most of the stars have found new clubs and others are still looking, the departures are as followed:

Jordan Henderson - VFL Wolfsburg, £5.25m
Joe Allen - Sunderland, £2.7m
Martin Kelly - Newcastle, £4.6m
Daniel Sturridge - AS Monaco, £20m
Glen Johnson - PSG, £9.75m
Lucas Leiva - PSG, £16.25m
Daniel Agger - Lazio, £8m
Martin Skrtel - Rubin, £6.5m
Luis Suarez - Arsenal, £36.5m
Coutinho - AS Monaco, £17m
Brad Jones - Free Transfer, £0m

The fee's received is in access of £126m, the vast majority of this money will not be seen due to it going towards clearing the loans and towards the fines, also some of it being reinvested into the club in transfer funds and also improving the facilities for the future, mostly going on youth recruitment.

It is believed that Iago Aspas, José Enrique, Simon Mignolet, Mohamdou Sakho are still looking for a new club, but Fowler is more favorable towards Simon leaving on loan as he is still young and he believes should Liverpool return to the top flight he could still play a massive part, he is more favorable towards using the 2 year loan option.

However out of the dark comes the light, it is confirmed that Liverpool Captain, Steven Gerrard will be staying put along with Kolo Toure. Sterling is also determined to stay at the club despite the difficult conidiions and fight for his place at Liverpool.

In other news Suso has cut his loan spell premature at Almería in order to help his parent club in this current struggle and stake a claim for the future.

@jordanmason97 - Glad that Stevie opted to stay, he will be key in the rebuild of this great club, and I will be mainly using youth barring the exception of Gerrard and Toure, great youth prospects so it'd be foolish not to utilize it!

@jasonvilla4ever - I haven't found a 'replacement' as such, but there is a player in the youth that has stepped up and is playing very similarly, it'll be interesting to see how he turns out

@pompeyblue - hopefully mate, may be a bit of a struggle using youth but it will be fun to see what happens
