End of Season, 2017/18
A decent enough run in to the season; two tough league games, and we made it into the Champions League final! It'd be great to win, and certainly be a boost to my fledgling reputation within the game
End Of Season Table
A solid finish in 5th place, guaranteeing us European Football next season, regardless of what happens in the CL Final against Juventus...

Champions League Final 2018
Liverpool head into today's final knowing that they have secured European Football next season, regardless of the outcome, but also knowing that victory would bring their first European Trophy in 13 years!
Juventus, on the other hand, tasted European success even longer ago, with their last Champions League trophy coming in 1996. In the Serie A this season, Juventus managed second position, 11 points behind league champions Napoli.
Liverpool's team for this game features some big-name players, with experience at this level; players such as Jose Manuel Reina, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi have all experienced big occasions such as this previously.
First Half
The first ten minutes of the game were underwhelming, as both sides cancelled each other out, probing for ways through two of the most solid defences in European Football. That is, until Will Keane popped up in the Juventus box, on the end of a speculative ball from Matiudi from the centre circle. Keane left the Juventus 'keeper rooted to the spot as he flicked the ball over him, and into the net! 1-0 Liverpool after just 14 minutes!
Keane's goal remained the only real highlight of the match, and the teams went in level at half time.

Second Half
Liverpool widened the gap after 58 minutes, after 60 minutes, when Striker Will Keane was bundled over after a Guiterrez free-kick. Keane dusted himself off to convert the penalty, firing the ball straight down the middle.
Liverpool had a chance to go 3-0 up afer 63 minutes, when former Liverpool man Sahko pulled Belfodil down in the centre of the Juventus penalty area. The stadium erupted, the players pointed, the Juventus defence argued, the referee gave another penalty.
Will Keane stepped up for the spot kick, looking incredibly calm. It seemed as though the whole stadium was holding its breath as Keane stared deep into the depths of the net...and sent the keeper the wrong way! Surely there was no way Liverpool would be caught now?!
Liverpool made some changes after 75 minutes, with Hat-trick Hero Will Keane coming off to a standing ovation from the Liverpool Support, Daniel Sturridge his replacement.
Hiram Mier scored a fourth goal for Liveprool in the dying moments, with a spectacular overhead kick from a corner! The goal was his first of the season, and his first for the club; it was a great moment for the 28-year old.
After two minutes of added time, the referee called time on an embarrassing game for Juventus, and Liverpool Celebrated!
