Pastore is better in centre midfield, much more effective

window slams shut

Today the transfer window for all British clubs slammed shut, There was alot of exciting action in the dying hours of the window with clubs like spurs, chelsea ,Newcastle,Man utd and man city all making purchases.

Tottenham have signed striker Mame Diouf from hannover 96 in the Bundesliga. The fee was reportedly in the region of 15 million pounds

Newcastle have also today acquired the services of Unsettled wide man ashley young from manchester United, the winger has signed a 3 yeardeal with the club for an undisclosed fee.

In Manchester both clubs have been busy. City having purchased andre ayew from french side Marseille for a fee of 13m.Whilst on the other side of manchester we have united who have confirmed the purchase of 2 players on deadline day. These players are Marc Bartra from FC Barcelona, the young centre back has cost the club 15 million pounds.United have also signed striker lacazette from Lyon for 4 million pounds as a replacement for recent departure, Danny Welbeck.

Chelsea have also spent 7m to bring Nani to the club from Rivals United. This move may come as a surprise to many with the rivalry between the clubs, but both teams have said that they are happy with the deal.

So after a busy transfer window Man united are the biggest spenders in the league with a total of 84.4 million pounds being spent.

Aston villa are the lowest spenders having not forked out a penny this summer.

The team which was most active was newcomers Crystal Palace with a total of 8 players having been bought.

The team with the lowest activity was again Aston Villa most likely because of their financial state.
