Alan Curtis Takes Charge At The Swans

Alan Curtis is regarded as one of Swansea City’s greatest-ever players having played for the club during three separate spells between 1972 and 1990.

He has been involved with Swansea in various capacities for 41 years and was previously first team coach under Michael Laudrup.

Alan Curtis will has become Swansea manager with immediate effect as of today, and it is a quick move from Swansea who have promoted Curtis just a few days after Michael Laudrups dismissal and it seems a sensible move as Curtis can now evaluate and make his own mark on the squad in the upcoming transfer market.

Swansea fans are pleased with Alan Curtis' promotion and are glad someone with a great knowledge of the club and squad already is going to be the person to take the club forward. Huw Jenkins has pleased the fans and most certainly pleased his own wallet as the club will not have to pay any compensation as they may have had to if they would have wanted to poach other targets who could already have been at a club.
