I have been quite reasonale and said UEFA Cup spot through finish, Board have given me 6M transfer money and 107K as my wage budget.
I have signed E.Davids on a free, I'm going to try to get S.Appiah also, but need a decent signing.
Have tried Arshavin to no avail, also went for Marcheda - rejected for now. Bayern have accepted an offer for L.Podolski but im not holding my breath.
Any recomendations?
Well it depends on what position youre looking for.
LB is usually a problem, Marcelo used to be transfer listed but I think thats changed in the new updates. Jeremy Mathieu from Toulouse would be a good signing for Villa for a season or two atleast.
Davids and Appiah really arent great but I guess theyre free. Doubt you'll get Appiah though because he usually fails his work permit for English clubs. I managed to get Camacho straight away in the game for £5mil (over 24mnths). Zucculini would be a great catch, you can usuall get him for around £325,000 and he becomes ace, I sold him to Roma at the age of 23 for a little under £40mil.
Striker? Keirrison. I got updates from my assistant all the time saying how much he improved because of first team football. I had to sell him after a season though to Real Madrid because of a £35mil buyout clause. Liverpool can sometimes get rid of David N'gog for a very reasonable price, and with the right training he becomes a Wonderkid.
