Ahead of the new Skrill Premier campaign, newly appointed Barnet manager Martin Allen has rallied his team to great together, work as a team and be consistent as he believes that it is vital part in order to achieve their goal of promotion.

"Promotion, no matter how good you are, is never an easy task," Allen began, "In order to reach the playoffs, never mind win the league, we will need to get consistent results. There is no point in beating one of the better teams in the league and then losing to one of the less quality teams because you have to be consistent in every match we go into"

"If we achieve promotion this season, even the playoffs, than the fans should be proud of ever single player who puts their heart and their soul into putting effort to give the fans an entertaining game of football for you. The players will, the staff will, and I know I will put all effort possible into making us achieve our playoff/promotion dreams"

Allen's first competitive game back in charge of the Bees is at home to recently promoted Chester who have re-risen from the bottom back towards recreating their previous success.
A very good pre-season mate!
Thank AAN. I just hope we can take this into the league campaign!

Manager's Notes

A very promising start to the season, sitting in second place, getting a few wins but of course, the defeat to Gateshead did hurt us, and I do feel that the Nuneaton draw was unfair as we dominanted the game, had more shots and more posession. We have to make the most of good starts so we can be more confident further into the season.

We have some difficult games next month but we need to stay confident, we need to stay strong and hopefully we can build up some more points onto the table

Notice Regarding Story and Future Activity

Hi guys,

I would first of all like to apologise for not being consistant throughout my story so far but of recent days I just simply have not had the time to continue and update the story. I have been busy with other business such as school work and projects.

I will sadly be stopping the story. It isn't cause I am bored of the save, in fact I love this save. I'm stopping the story because other projects that are more important than stories on FMscout have taken over.

I may do more stories in the future but for the current time, I am taking a break from story writing. I hope to see you soon for my new story which I WILL DO at some point
