Greetings,
I've been obsessed with the way BR have got LFC playing in recent weeks. I'm now trying to implement his tactics in FM along with some elements from Pep's Barca. Basically I want a 4-1DM-2CMs-2Wingers-1.
Now I've been facing some tactical problems:
1. The DM
I want this to be the Busquets role. Divided between the Anchor man and Halfback. Halfback push high up, which sometimes leave me vulnerable against teams like Stoke and West ham. Anchor man stays deep in front of defence but doesn't drop between the CBs.
2. The WBs
Any one watching LFC in the past few weeks will find that Suarez and Coutinho, while supposedly deployed as wingers, but they sit narrower (AP/S with sit narrower) and the WBs provide the width, just like how Flanno won the 2nd penalty for LFC now. I'm torn between CWB and WB/A, they both seem quite similar?
3. The ST
Finally, the Messi role. On paper he is a F9, but in the game, False 9 don't get too involved in the game. The second option is Trequartista, which is closest to RL Messi, but he doesn't pressurize opposing defenders.
Sorry for the long post! Thanks in advance
