Wenger:'This Is Our Year'

Arsene During Interview

Arsene Wenger today has assured any worried fans about the season ahead that this campaign is going to be different than any in the recent years before. Wenger talking to ArsenalTV today told us that we have nothing to worry about and that he plans on doing things a little differently this year in order to bring success back to this great Football club.

Arsene hinted during the interview that for a change, money may have to be spent so that he can achieve his goals this season which are obviously to try and win the league. Arsenal as a club have been lacking in the execution over recent years, over the seasons we have been in need of key players we just do not have. Us fans are hoping that Wenger will finally give us something to sing about by bringing in some big name players but the question is, will he be able to finally give way to his idea of building a team from what he has got? who knows.

Interview:

Q: Hi Arsene, hope your well. We sit here today only weeks before the start of the new Premier League season, what is your thought on our chances this year?

A: Well I think that we have great chance this year. We have a great group of players that will help us achieve glory. This is our year.

Q: But these are the same players that we had last year, whats to say we wont have the exact same season in this campaign? Do you plan on brining players in?

A: You know I dont like to talk about these things, but to any fans that need reassuring, I plan on bring players in to give the squad a new lick on paint.

Q: Thats good to hear, I wont bother asking you who. Lastly Who do you feel will be our key player this year Arsene?

A: That is question is unfair on the team, but I can say that we have missed players like Wilshere over the last few season due to injury, so hopefully he can stay fit this campaign and help us regain out former glory.

Arsenal will kick off the campaign hoping for a win at Selhurst park against newly promoted Crystal Palace. The newcomers who gained access via the playoffs will though be looking to mark their territory by making a statement against Arsenal if possible, But until that day comes we will just have to get on with life, whilst still keeping an eye on Arsenal to see if Arsene will finally do something.
