TWO LEAVE VALLADOLID
As I walked into the club training ground for my first training session, the players were all happy that I had returned back. But I could still sense that some of them did not like my appointment.

I felt that my first day of training went pretty well. But soon I got a call from Wolfburg manager Robin Dutt. All he said was "He's coming here no matter what you think. I have got him to agree a contract and he's happy to move. Name your price for Patrick Ebert."
I froze. This was my first transfer dealing. Oh my god, what do I say. I told him I would get back to him in some time and I rang up Alberto immediately. He told me to quote 7 million. I didn'tcall back the whole day. The next day morning, Dutt called again. "Quote your price". "7 million, take it or leave it", I said. Done was all he said to me. Alerto ironed out the rest of the matter I guess. Late that afternoon, I got another call. This time it was Alberto. He told me there was a bid from Sociedad for Oscar. The amount was 3 Million. I told Oscar to come to my office the next day. I sat him down and asked if he wanted to play in the Champions League. He was ecstatic. Told me I was crazy. That's when I told him what was going on. He said he'll think about it and get back to me.
But the next day Alberto told me that Oscar told him he wanted to take the deal. And there goes another good player I thought.
