I have thought long and hard about a challenge that will excite me and also keep me interested. After playing a game in Denmark with FC Midtjylland (think that is how you spell it.) And having 5 succesful seasons I thought about a game similar to this. So, here we are, in Spain looking at an average squad with a couple of word class players. Why Real Sociedad? I hear you cry, well it is a little different to the obvious Real Madrids and Barcelonas, not only that I am sure you are all aware of the likes of Greizmann, Martinez and Carlos Vela. A club with great facilities they have all the foundations to push higher up the league and start giving the top three a run for their money, or at least keeping them honest.

Here is my breakdown of targets I wish to complete or at least stick too:

- Win the La Liga within 5 years.
- Qualify for the Champions League/Europa League each year.
- Continue to improve the squad with a good scouting network and producing young talent (kind of an Arsenal style of financial dealings.)
- Win the Champions League within a 5-10 year timescale.

First Season Objectives
I have told the board that I will finish in the top half. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself to early in my career, all the while I feel anything less than Europe will be a sour season. One obvious problem I will face is keeping hold of the likes of Greizmann and Martinez, so could be a very busy transfer window.

Hold the phone... an offer has just come in for Greizmann.....
