starting game in 2014 after update install

so, I installed the latest update and now want to run the game from the end of the 2013/14 season...

How do I do this.. all the options are for a series of dates in 2013 in different countries and 1 or 2 in 2014, but January...!!

Am I missing something...?

You can't start the game from the end of the 2013/2014 season. You will have to start in the 2013/2014 season and then sim onwards until the end

so, start in 2013, don't take a job.. simulate till end of 2014 and then take a job...?

will the transfers and managers ( moyes / gigs / van gaal) for utd for example sim into the game though.. and will city be prem champs and Liverpool 2nd...?
