Catania was relegated to serie B on the end of 2014. I consider Catania to be one of the best teams in the world and that they deserve more than what they have. In reason years the have use a base of Argentinian players a history i will continue. My main goal as coach of Catania is to make them the best team in Italy to fill their trophy case.

After the first practice i made some decisions and places my players in the position i trust would be the best for the team....


although this team is just for the first game of pre-season it is well established that a goalkeeper is needed. I have a budget of $3.66 Million and payroll available of $3.89k p/w. I will have to adjust the budget in order to get a decent goalkeeper.

Mamadou Samassa comes from newly promoted French side En Vant De Guingamp. He is 23 year old and is a Mali international. He came for the very small fee of $450,000 and a salary of $6k p/w. He will be a great player for the future, but also a good goalkeeper for the current season.

Petar Golubovic comes to us from Roma on a loan for a year. he will be covering our central defense with was weakened by the leave of Giuseppe Bellusci to Udinesse. he is a young player only 19 yrs old but i think he can help the team to win promotion. We also have the option to buy him after the loan for 2 million euros.
