November - January: On the right track

League form

We've managed to keep up our very impressive run so far this season and only lost two games in the twenty played over the three months! We've been keeping up to the tradition set early on by banging in the goals but one thing that has disappointing me is the amount of goals we have conceded lately but it's something that can be fixed, we're outscoring our opponents and that's the thing that has counted lately.

FA Trophy

We've met all expectations so far remaining the in FA Throphy, we're one of the favorites to do well in this cup and it is something that I'd like to win, so we will be putting a lot of effort into this cup as we'd love the silverware.

FA Cup

What is there to say about this trophy? We are in inspired form in the FA cup, we've done remarkably and we've knocked some pretty decent teams out of the competition. I know winning it may be a long shot but as long as we keep playing the way we are doing there's no reason we can't go far! It's done our finances a world of good.

Unfortunately I don't have any screen shots of the tables up until the next season in November time because at that time I didn't think i'd of attempted a story so the updates will be getting a lot more chunky next season. But I can report that at this stage in the year we were sitting top 12 points clear of Luton and Grimsby in 2nd and 3rd respectively

Player of the Segment

For this part of the season it can only be one man, he has been in fine form ever since joining us back in pre-season on a season long loan and he has proved all his doubters wrong with some terrific performances... The player of the segment for part two is of course Michael Coulson

Michael Coulson

Michael has been in inspired form down the right hand side, he has bagged another bucket load of assists and has also been banging in goals for the fun of it. He makes it look easy when actually that isn't the case at all, he has definitely been our star man this season so far and we'll definitely be looking to bring him in permanently if he keeps this form up! Coulson has managed to score a terrific 16 goals in the 20 games played in these three months, monster form by anyone's standards!
Nice detail in the update and your results are really good.
Doing really well! I am shocked by your transfer budget to be honest! I have always enjoyed the LLM games personally. But still, £20,000 transfer budget? I am managing Dagenham in League 2 and I have that transfer budget! Keep up the good work, mate.
cfcmarkt - Cheers buddy, means a lot and they have been amazing recently! :)

Lowlife23 - I was also shocked when I first saw it, the chairman has showed real ambition this season so far and has given me all the backing I've needed to get out of the league! :)
Harriers' Plan Facilities Upgrades

Kidderminster Harriers are proud to announce that the club is now in healthy enough financial position that the Owner is now prepared to upgrade some of the facilities here at Aggborough. The facilities that are to be upgraded are the following:

  • First Team Training Facilities
  • Youth Training Facilities
  • Youth Recruitment Network
  • Pitch Relay

Funding for the facilities have been made available due to the cash coming in from increased crowd sizes and also down to the financial injection that the club has received from the FA Cup. Where Kidderminster are set to play West Brom in the next round, so far they have managed to knock some big names out of the tournament and as a result have put the team on the map and also managed to boost the finances.

Manager Andy Thorn had the following to say about the recent changes that are about to take place at Aggborough:

"It's fantastic that the Owner is prepared to inject money into the club, he is an ambitious man and he wants this club to climb up the football pyramid. It show's what we have managed to achieve as a club too so far this season, this work wouldn't of been possible if it was not for the lad's fantastic effort this season in all competitions. They should all be very proud of their achievements so far this term, we've been incredible. It's also great that the pitch is getting relayed at the end of the season as it has been torn up quiet bad so far this season, due to all the games being played on it."

February - April: Champions

We went into the final third of the season in relatively good spirits, we have done terrifically so far this season:
  • Way out in front in the League
  • Still in the FA Cup
  • Still in the FA Trophy
And the form continued in stylish form, although it wasn't our prettiest spell of the season so far we still managed to grind out and win the league by 3 points. It was a three horse race going into the final game between Kidderminster, Luton and Grimsby, all knowing that if they won their games that they could end up walking away with the Skrill Premier title today. It was anybody's for the taking and we managed to sign off the season with a 1-0 win over Halifax to make sure that we managed to go home with the title.

The lads have put in a remarkable shift this season and have managed to win the league, something that wasn't really expected of them. But expectation grew over the course of the season with such terrific results in the league and also the FA cup.

Kidderminster Harriers also managed to walk away with the FA Trophy this season and the only disappointment on a fabulous season was that the cup run in the FA Cup was cut short thanks to a defeat to West Brom, but the squad won't be too disheartened about that at all. They did fantastically well to even get as far as they did in the first place.

The final league table is as follows:

I know it may seem that I have rushed the first season, but that was due to being so far ahead I wanted to bring you all up to speed with what's going on at the moment. We are now in the Football League which is a remarkable achievement. We won the league which is a massive bonus and also the FA Trophy which looks nice the on the CV. The aim now is to rebuild for the Football League and do our best to continue the rise!
Congratulations on promotion! Wish you the best in League 2!
Cheers Josh, Big changes on the way! :)
Congratulations on promotion to League Two! All the best for a successful season in the Football League.
Well Done. You did well to get promotion.
Stephen_G - Thanks mate, hopefully next campaign will be as successful as this one! :)

cfcmarkt - Cheers buddy, even I was shocked at how well we did this season :P
New Season, New Garms

Kidderminster Harriers fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of their new kits since returning to the football league, wondering what strip their team would be sporting next campaign and the wait is finally over. Kidderminster have two new kits, home and away. The new kits have been rocked up by the new Harrier's kit manufacturers Adidas and they have come up trumps with the new kits for this season. That wasn't the only thing that was new, as the harrier's have a new sponsorship deal signed with Technologic UK on a two-year deal and they will be the sponsor across the front of the new kits.

The home kit keeps with the grand colour scheme of the club with the red and white shirt and shorts, the home shirt is equipped with the new climalite technology as well as having it embedded in the away shirt too. A kit the harriers will be sporting at Aggborough in hope of making the ground a fortress next season and the red colours as a warning sign to anyone who comes to challenge the team!

The away kit on the other hand sticks to the purple colour scheme that Kidderminster were wearing last season, a kit that brought them a lot of success in the FA cup and also the FA Trophy which the club managed to come out winning.

Manager Andy Thorn has recently spoken out about the new kits, he had this to say:

"The new kits look fantastic, nothing has changed drastically since last season, we've kept with the same scheme, the winning colours that brought us so much success last season. Hopefully the success can be replicated in the newer updated versions of the shirt this season. The kits look terrific and also having a sponsor like Adidas will help us get this shirt on the map and also makes us look that little bit more quality due to having a super brand sponsoring the club coming up with such fantastic kits."

Both home and away shirt can be pre-ordered now both off the official website of Kidderminster Harriers and also the Adidas UK online store for £39.99 for adults and £24.99 for children.
Nice kits mate.
Liking the kits :)
Loved this story so far, really well written and informative. I wish I could do LLM tbh, and you have actually given me hope that maybe I can, so off I go ;)
